If you are making a trip to lovely downtown Concord, don't miss the Chocolatier. An amazing place with homemade chocolate, deserts, cakes, anything you want can be done by the fabulous owners and seasoned chefs, Jean Luc and Ann Marie. In fact, make a trip just to go to here, you won't forget it!

The Real Deal!!!!!. The moment I walked in to Chocolatier Barracund, I knew this was the real deal. We lived in France for five years, and had the opportunity to sample many wonderful French pastries and chocolates, and Barracund is the one of the best we have ever tried. The marshmallow, caramel, and milk chocolate creation is exquisite! The passion fruit caramel is sublime. The pastries are subtle, expertly created, and heavenly. Now, if your tastes run to the overly-sweet, artificial junk you get at fast food places and supermarket bakeries, this bakery may not be for you. This establishment represents the life work of a fine artisan, and if you want to say a fast food apple pie suits you better that's OK, just don't assume you can review a place like this with any justice or credibility. The chocolatier at Barracund is an artist of the highest order, and how we found him in Concord is a delightful mystery, but I'm glad we did!
