Their rolls were amazing and the price and taste are by far one of the best in Charlotte. Their Lotus roll is simple, yet amazing and a cute surprise that's worth try.
Best Sushi. Koishi may be in an old Pizza Hut... but the food is outstanding! It is always clean and the staff is friendly. I think this is the best sushi in Charlotte and the other menu items are fresh and satisfy the pickiest of eaters. They also have healthy steamed options available.
Pleasant experience. I'm not even attempt to compare about prices when it comes to sushi. Koishi sushi stands out with the very fresh sashimi and hand rolls with those delicious spicy sauce on top. We got sit promptly which is always a good thing, and the servers were polite and took well care of us. We'll come back for sure ...
Awesome experience. Great food for a reasonable price; the sushi is extremely appetizing. Very prompt with large to-go orders and when dining in the service is outstanding. If you're a fan of asian cuisine you ought to give these guys a try... you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Hidden Find, Nice litte upscale sushi place.
Found this place online and was hesitant because I couldn’t find any photos and it looks like an old pizza hut or something from the outside. Gave it a try and it was really good.
Had pretty friendly, prompt service. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive either. It was very reasonable for the size of the rolls and the size of the entrees.
I would recommend Koishi if you've never tried it. I don't think many people know about it in Charlotte because its kind of hidden. If you like sushi and you’re not a snob, you’ll enjoy.
Good Quality Sushi.
Located off of Sharon Amity and Randolph in Cotswold, this is a pretty good middle of the road sushi place. The quality is great for the fish used, but definitely never a busy place, sort of gets the shaft for its location and resemblance to an old Pizza Hut.
The Japanese and Chinese menu is pretty deep here, but was not a huge fan of the dishes, just something about them didn't leave me saying "wow, that was good". Definitely interested in the sushi though.
Editorial Review. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Koishi is sure to please your appetite for fresh sushi and other fine Chinese food.
so far the best sushi i have ever had. i have eaten the majority of their items on the menu and all of them have been very very good. There is one item in particular that i can't get enough of which is the super crunchy roll. If you haven't tried it you must. I have taken several people there to try that item and it has been a success everytime. Keep up the good work. I wish other sushi restaurants had the super crunch roll on their menu.
Better than most sushi in Charlotte. Dont let the look fool you. It looks an old Pizza Hut building. I think I've eaten at every major sushi establishment in town, and Koi is much better than most. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. And yes, although a little pricey, at least you're getting qualtiy food. I'd much rather spend my money here than go to Ru San's or 101 and get tiny rolls with no taste.
Good Atmosphere, Tastey But I wish it were a better value..
Nice location, but It seems expensive for what you get. The food is not bad, but you get a small portion for a high price.
I would go there often if it were a better value. As it is it is 4 blocks from my house and we don't go there.
Dear Koi, please price your food accordingly and give a decent portion size.
