CHARGED MY CARD AND NEVER SHOWED UP!!!.
This was the WORST moving experience of my life. I made an appointment for Saturday. They called me two days before the move to confirm the time and to obtain my credit card information so that they could charge my card after the services were provided. On Friday (before any services were performed), they charged my card for $219. I was furious but figured I would handle the situation when they showed up for the move. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I called several different times and no one answered or called me back. I ended up having to get another moving company to move me at the last minute (they were great by the way) which put a huge burden on my pockets.
Then on Monday I go to work and have a voicemail message from South Park Movers regarding my move. I called them back and let them have it. They apologized for not showing up and said that my work number was the only number they had on file and that they tried to contact me on Saturday. COMPLETE BS! They had ALL of my contact information as well as my address. After going back and forth they agreed to give me a refund. I arrived at their office on E. Independence (which was very ghetto and dirty) and was told that since my move was a cancellation that I was only etitled to a $160 refund instead the full $219. Thankfully my bank recovered the remain $60.
This company has been reported to the BBB several times and has a notorious reputation for scaming innocent people in the greater Charlotte area. STAY AWAY!!!!
RUN RUN RUN!!!! They are CROOKS!!!!. First of all, they go under different names and use bogus addresses. One of the other names they use is"Metro Movers". They do not have an actual location and only use Budget Rent a cars, Uhaul, etc. The prior owner went to jail for doing the exact thing these new owners do. However, they are all related....brothers, that is. They are ALL CROOKS and WILL STEAL from you!!!!! They took $150 from my friends account when she didn't even use them. They broke and cracked so many things of mine,..it was a disgrace!!! I had 3 men and it took them all day to get it done!!! And that was with my help in addition to that. I was so exhausted from having to do a lot of it myself. I kid you not....it was a joke!!! The owner NIck came to my home and took one of my personal belongings to get fixed and promised to be returned in a few days. Very weird huh? Well, it has been 2 months and these people will NEVER return your call. I have called everyday since then to recover my item they STOLE and REFUSE to return!!!! Basically these jerks work in disclosed places and use ficticious addresses. Ask for yourself....they will just stumble over their words and lie!!!! Once you use them....you are doomed if they damaged anything. DO NOT LET THEM TAKE ANYTHING TO BE REPAIRED! You will NEVER see it again! Try this number if they have scammed you. It's the same people as SouthPark Moving Consultants. (704) 606-2109. BEWARE!!!! THEY ARE TOTALLY BAD NEWS!!! My friend threatened to file crimanal charges for taking money when she never used them. If you happen to get them on the phone....they will try to manipulate you and say what you want to hear. LOL! Don't buy into it!! It's been such a heartache...I am having to file a police report against them now.
NOT UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. This company is not under new management! Same owner / same sceniaros.....Contact the Better Business Bureau (704) 927-8611........Budget / Penske trucks with little or no equipment at all, no furniture pads... They come to our apartment communitys throwing and littering the area with their business cards. No respect for others property... The only positive reviews they have are the ones they have posted.. you can tell as the ones they post are "short and sweet" others are outraged with theit service....or lack of one should write..
DO NOT USE THEM< CHECK THE BBB. To make a really long story shirt, they broke/scratched all of my furniture. I havd to still pay the full price of 500.oo and they didnt take responsibility for nothing. The "insurance waiver" is complete bullshit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
A Complete Scam, Dont give them any money. I am gonna reprimand this company when I find them. The owner goes by the name of Terry Anthony Earl and he came and gave us an estimate and collected our deposit on Christmas eve and I never heard from him since. They were supposed to show up yesterday to move me and my roommate and never did. Not only did we lose $200 we had to pay more movers at the last minute to get us out of our apartment. They better hope I dont find them. I am going to the news and I contacted my apartment complex, and I will do whatever it takes to get my money back and make sure that nobody else gets scammed by this company.
Carolina Moving Consultants. This company is a total scam. They come for an estimate, get your payment via cash or credit card and then change their numbers and don't show up. They might also be known just as Moving Consultants. I should have known when they asked for payment up front that it was bogus. Don't trust them with your money!

I used this moving company to move me into my new home and they broke my huge TV, scratched my furniture, broke glasses and messed my walls, floors and doors up in my new home.
Also, they have a drinker on the job.
I tried to file my claims but they will not take my calls for 2 months now or py me for the damages or replace my broken.
I would not recommend these guys at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pay the extra for a company who cares.

They were a joke. Ignore the video promotion, they showed up EXTREMELY LATE and (like below) looking like they came from the homeless shelter (the company should at least give them an appropriate shirt to wear, and suggest they not wear baggy jeans like they fell out of a bad hip hop video), with absolutely no professionalism or idea of what they were even doing. Stay away from this company, do not trust them to touch a single thing of yours.
They broke things, afterwords, denying claims and even ignoring phone calls, "*67" if you call after your move if you want them to even answer.
Worst Experience EVER!!!!.
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Not only were they 3 ? hours late, but once they did finish the move they tried to add on additional fees and charge more than their rates quote. Do not let their cute video fool you they are NOT professional by any standard. The two men that came to move us looked like they were picked up at the homeless shelter.
To top it all off they dropped a dinette table off of the truck breaking it into pieces. We did everything they said to report the claim to be reimbursed. It has been 3 months and they still have not reimbursed us. As a matter of fact every time we call we get another story... The check is here, or it's in the mail, or we don't have any record of your claim.... Whatever you do spare yourself the same frustration and DO NOT use these guys!!
Aweful!!! Incorrect amount charged to credit card. Charged credit card incorrect amount. Then would not correct or reimburse amount. I had to get credit card company to go after the charges. When service was cancelled, still called the day before to say they were coming. I told them that I had cancelled two weeks earlier. Response was terrible and would not correct their mistake once I was able to reach them after dozens of calls.
