Get treated like royalty. I absolutely love this salon. I have been going here for two years and have never had a bad experience. The customer service is flawless!!! They roll out the red carpet for you, each and every time you visit. Just today, I enjoyed refreshments and wine while I was pampered. If you have not visited this salon.... you must.

Best Salon In Charlotte.
Prior to going to Yvelisse, I was going to another salon in Charlotte. My hair was very badly damaged due to the permanent hair color in my hair. Today, my hair is healthier than its ever been since moving from NY. Each time I go to get my hair done, I have a better experience. The entire staff is always friendly, very professional, and are always excited about doing your hair...regardless of the type of hair you have. And not to mention they know their customers...that's what I love about this salon. You will definitely be happy when you leave this salon. This is the best salon I have ever gone to in Charlotte. Additionally, you don't have to spend your entire day waiting to get your hair done...you are in and out.

Beautiful Salon with Amazing Results. Before actually attending Yvelisse Salon i actually came on to this website to read the reviews on it. I was a little unsure if i should go the place since some of the reviews said that they were rude and the prices were a bit pricey. I decided to go try it out anyways and let me say my experience was just amazing. My hair is very very curly and if not blow dried the right way it will become very frizzy the same day. I received good treatment for my hair which i went under the drier for. The lady that washed my hair did an amazing job i actually was able to close my eyes and feel relaxed. my hair was blowed out and then flat ironed. Every product that they used on my hair just made my hair look at feel amazing. I do recommend this salon to the max. I visit charlotte a lot through out the year and this is deff the place to go to either if you live there or if your visiting and need your hair to be done. The reason as to why i gave it 4 stars is because when i do go to the salon i have to stop at the bank before getting there to get money out because they do not accept credit or debit cards. Overall this is a great place to go to , i have always had problems trusting people with my hair but they do an amazing job that i go in with no problem , let them know what i want, and just patiently get my hair done. As for some of the reviews on here that are just giving the salon low stars ... try it again im sure you would love it.

High Quality Hair Care, Pricey but you get what you pay for!. My father-in-law said that I can only get a Dominican to cut my son's hair for the first time otherwise I would mess up his curls. I found Yvelisse's Salon and have been going ever since. After having children my hair broke off really bad. Now it is longer, healthier, and shinier than it has ever been. I go mostly every week (I miss some weeks because there aren't enough hours in a day). Everyone is so nice and the pricing to me is great. You get what you pay for!!! QUALITY HAIR CARE! There are different pricing for conditioning so if the people complaining about price asked for that then guess what, the cost will be more. Everyone there is well qualified and they all do a great job. You have to communicate with your stylist and let them know if you are tender headed or your scalp burns easy. I think everyone that has had a perm knows that you don't wash your hair the day before otherwise you will burn. I give them a 10 out of 5...haha (I know that isn't possible) I am SOOOOOOO satisfied with Yvelisse Salon and I will never trust anyone else with my hair. PERIOD!!! As for the previous 1 star review about customer service, i find it also to be biased as the reviewer never actually sat down to get the full blown experience to even judge the salon. The owners are extremely nice and often give out free pizza and drinks which my daughter and son LOVE lol. I highly recommend Yvelisse salon and will be coming back.

Loved it!.
This was my first trip to Yvelisse's Salon and I loved it! I recently moved to Charlotte and was concerned about finding a new hair salon to care for my natural hair.
My last hair stylist pressed my hair with the old fashioned hot comb and hot flat iron (not the ceramics, but the ones that actually go on the hotbed). She advised me to try a Dominican shop after I moved, so I did.
My mother suggested I try Yvelisse's and I was able to walk right in to have my blow-out done within an hour, but it was on a Tuesday. The salon itself is beautiful and I was greeted and treated kindly from the moment I walked in!
I would have given them 5 stars, but I felt the services were a little more costly than what I'm used to. I paid $55 for a wash, condition (I got the $5 one), blow-out and my ends trimmed. Yvelisse actually gave me the conditioning for free, so it would have been $60. However, I will definitely go back because my hair looks and feels wonderful! I would definitely recommend this salon!

Great place if you like to get burned and treated like crap.
I went there today and had one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at a salon. This was my second visit. The first was about two years ago. On the first visit I didn't like the fact that the stylist relaxed my entire head when I only needed a 6 week touch up. She even asked me how long it had been since my last relaxer and I told her six weeks; as if that even mattered. My hair came out looking very nice so I decided to try them again; but this time I relaxed my hair myself the night before. The experience was horrible from the time I got there today until the minute I left.
1. They have horrible customer service skills.
2. The stylist continually burned my scalp with the blow dryer, and even when I yelped out "ah" and moved away on more than one occasion she made no accomodations, nor did she apologize.
3. I went there for a wash, depp conditioner (the $15 conditioner), and a one inch trim which cost me $70. I think I paid about this much, if not less, the first time I went and got the same cost conditioner, a relaxer, and a trim. Either prices have gone up or I got ripped off.
4. I spent most of the time straining my neck while she blow dried my hair, yanking it with a round boar bristle brush.
I really went to get my hair cut in a bob style but with the way things were going I was scared she would mess it up. Per the impression I was getting from this place, I was not very confident in her or any of their ability to really cut or do a somewhat complicated style. I don't think this is the place to go to if you are concerned about the health of your hair or improving it, because they don't seem to be. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Great Salon & Customer Service. Don't really have any complaints about Yvellise's salon. After searching for a decent Dominican Salon in Charlotte for the past five years, Yvellise's Salon is the best I've found. Not quite the on-point blowout I'd become accustomed to in CT but it's the closest I've found. So yes, I do recommend this salon for Charlotte area women looking for a nice Dominican salon!

HORRIBLE YVELISSE SALON EXPERIENCE!. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FRIDAY TO GET MY HAIR DONE AT 9 AM SATURDAY. I ARRIVED TO THE SALON A FEW MINUTES LATE HAVING GOTTEN LOST IT BEING MY FIRST TIME TO THE SALON. UPON ENTERING I WAS GREETED BY A GENTLEMAN (WHAT I LATER FOUND OUT WAS THE OWNER). I DID NOT GET A GOOD MORNING HOW MAY WE HELP YOU BUT "WHAT DO YOU NEED". I LET HIM KNOW THAT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT 9:00. AFTER CHECKING THE TIME HE REPLIED WITH "IT'S NOT 9:00 ANYMORE. WE'RE FULL NOW. YOU'RE LATE IT'S PAST 9 OCLOCK." I PROCEEDED TO LET HIM KNOW THAT IT WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE AND I HAD GOTTEN A LITTLE TURNED AROUND. WITH THIS HIS TOOK ME OVER TO YVELISSE TO FIND OUT IF MY APPT COULD STILL BE HONORED, WHERE I GOT A COLD "WHAT ARE YOU GETTING DONE." ONCE IT WAS CLARIFIED THAT I WAS THERE FOR COLOR AND EXTENSIONS, I WAS DIRECTED TO THE STYLIST I HAD MADE AN APPT WITH. SHE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MY TARDINESS AND ESSENTIALLY RECOVERED FOR THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAD EXPERIENCED. AFTER A BRIEF CONSULTATION, SHE TOOK ME BACK TO DECIDE ON A COLOR. WHILE IN THE BACK ROOM THE GENTLEMAN THEN WALKED IN. I DECIDED TO USE THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LET HIM KNOW THAT I DID NOT APPRECIATE THE WAY HE HAD SPOKEN TO ME BEFORE, AND THAT IT WAS NO WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER. EXPECTING AND APOLOGY, I GOT NOTHING BUT MORE OF HIS NASTY ATTITUDE. LONG STORY SHORT WHEN I LET THE STYLIST KNOW THAT I HAD CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT GETTING MY HAIR DONE DUE TO THE MANNER IN WHICH I WAS TREATED SHE WAS REMORSEFUL AND LET ME KNOW THAT SHE UNDERSTOOD. WHICH AT THIS POINT YVELISSE DECIDED TO COME OVER. SHE DID NOTHING BUT ARGUE WITH ME AND AT NO POINT APOLOGIZED FOR THE POOR TREATMENT I HAD RECEIVED. THE OWNERS ARE NOTHING BUT RUDE, AND CLEARLY NEED A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS SALON AGAIN!
