I really enjoyed my having my hair done last month at Jon Ric with Cathy Carr, It took me some time to get on Citysearch and write this review, but there is not a day that Im out and about and I get a compliment on my hair color or cut.

I acually found her on Citysearch, so if your lost on where, who, and what look you may want. Cathy is worth the wait. She gave me options and looked at my hair like an artist.

It kinda a weird situation because I want to give her the review she desrve but i dont want her to get overbooked and not fit me in. lol

Dont forget me Cathy its Ann X brassy burnette, now rich sultry brown!

I have to take a moment to recognize Jon Ric's esthetician, Doris Rossman. I've had troubled skin for years, from blemishes to scarring. Doris took time to consult with me and not only that was excited to help me achieve the results I've desired. Doris's touch and skill have completely transformed my skin into a clearer, glowing complexion that requires no make up if I choose! I've since started making waxing appointments with Doris because she understands my needs and does an expert job!

READ IF GETTING HAIR EXTENSIONS! I have had a horrible experience with this salon. I got the great length hair extensions, they were put in by someone who was not certified which is illegal in the first place and I was unaware until I was in the middle of getting my service. the extensions came out horrible i was embarrassed to go out of the house. I had two other stylist that do extensions look at my hair extensions and they said that it was done completely wrong, that they were put to close to my head, scattered all over the place in random spots, and the color was not correct. I had been saving up for a year to get these sense they're $2000 which makes the situation even worse. when i contacted the owner she originally told me that they would not be able to refund me my money and that the girl was certified that she just did a three day class. so i called great lengths and they said that there is no such thing as a three day class, and that the stylist name did not come up in their system which means she's not certified. so I called up the owner and told her this and for a while she kept trying to lie and finally said that she would give me my refund because great lengths was wanting me to give them all the salons information so they could investigate the situation and take away their extensions license, but i didn't because i felt like that would not be fair. finally the owner "says" she will refund me my money but double charged me! so now she took out 4,000 from my account. now im a receptionist at a salon and i know that there is no way that someone can make this big of a mistake and it go unnoticed sense you have to go through and make sure everyone has been charged correctly through out the day, she clearly did it on purpose, and that is why i am writing this review. thank goodness i have american express so i was able to dispute the two charges. the salon owner is a bad business woman, lier, and does not know how to run a salon, which i have heard from many stylist and salon owners that i know. she will probably comment on hear and say this is not true but all of this is 100% true and i was completely shocked and disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this salon.

if you are looking for someone who does amazing extension see tonya harris she's amazing! she fixed my horrible extensions and now people are shocked when i tell them i have extensions her number is 7044305372 you can tell her alexis recommended you!

First time at Jon Ric and I LOVE my cut!! Cathy Carr is AMAZING. I had heard that she toggles between Charlotte and Miami on a weekly basis, but will be back each time she frequents Charlotte. I was a highlight virgin in my mid 40's (yea, I know) and she eased me into color. I'm hooked -- only because she took some of my natural highlights and integrated more of them into my overall hair color. Natural, modern, beautiful and shinny. I'm thrilled with Cathy and would fly to Miami just to stay with her!

Love my color! Cathy is the Best.!!!! I wish she was in town more often but my color is so amazing I can only give her the review she deserves.

I have had many facials with Doris R. before she went to Jon Ric Spa and they were always the best!! She is so thorough, and gives the best facial/neck and shoulder massage!!

I would like to highly recommend the talented Rachel @ Jon Ric. I'm a guy and it's probably not what this salon is "known for" but she does great work. It's a great value as well, compared to some salons I have been to in the past. A++ Recommendation.

I'm so thrilled a salon like this is in Charlotte. The quality of the haircut as well as the consultation was excellent and professional. For the first time a stylist, Caroline, actually had a discussion with me about a look I envisioned. She helped to re-shape my hair to fit my lifestyle and showed me how to manage it on a daily basis. The price was definitely worth the service.

I will write the first bad review. I was very disappointed with my haircut. I didn't get the impression that men's haircuts were this salon's strength. My hair stylist spent 20 minutes on the entire appointment (hair wash, cut, etc). There was no method to my haircut. I really could not believe she was a senior hair stylist. It's like seeing a physician. You can tell when they are not skilled in their craft. Right before my hair cut ended, a timer went off! Is that implying what I think? I was hardly impressed with the salon itself. It was generic. It did not match with a salon that is apparently a top rated AOL salon (as marketed on their website). Their price is about what I usually pay. But I usually pay that for an hour appointment and for a stylist that uses technique. I paid $3 per minute. That is very ridiculous. I am amazed that this salon does not have more bad reviews. Very disappointing for shu uemura salon. I will not be returning.

This is a great Salon and Giovanna Davis is an amazing colorist. Having blonde highlighted hair that isnt ruined is not an easy task but she does. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking to have amazing color.
