Best ANYWHERE. I am totally addicted to Urbana. I always feel like I'm in a warm coccoon from start to finish. Very welcoming. World class therapists. Fabulous atmosphere. I hope they never change a thing. It's no surprise they are best of Citysearch. I can't give them enough stars.

Great products too!. Nancy introduced me to the Mamma Mio line of skin care Urbana sells while i was a few months pregnant. I tried the Tummy Rub Butter for stretchmarks. Boy am i glad i did. I started using it around month 4 and I stopped using it 3 months post-pardum and don't have a mark! Whew. Totally worth it! And it helped my itchy belly too! Thanks Nancy!

Savor It. My husband and I came to Urbana for massages for our anniversary. The people that work there immediately helped us relax. The tea bar atmosphere makes it comfortable for men. I think some men feel like spas are for women but Urbana feels warm and cozy, not feminine. At the end we were not rushed and were able to savor the experience.

a very happy new year. thought i would treat myself to celebrate the new year. was happy to find that i was able to get in for a massage. it was the best massage i have ever experienced. have to say i didn't even know from past experiences elsewhere what i was missing. now i know what massage is really about and where to go to get it thanks to urbana.

RUINED SUPRISE!!!. I tried to do something special for my sister for her birthday. I booked her a massage and a massage facial. I had a $30 off coupon for being a first-time client, and had made it very clear I did not want my sister to find out how much I had spent and especially did not want her to know I used a coupon. I also asked if they could make it all a suprise and not tell her what she was getting when she came in. The lady, Britney, said it was absolutely no problem and she would put a note in the system so when she came in it would pop up with all this info. My sister went in, and right away they told her what she was getting done, so right from the start they ruined the surprise part of it. She got her massage, and when she was done they charged her $30 saying I did not cover everything. So not only did she find out how much I spent, she also found out I had used a $30 coupon. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

Simply the best. The best hot stone massage I have ever gotten. I am coming back for it time after time.

...and the collection of teas!!! If you are a true tea lover - you have to visit this place and half a nice cup of tea after a relaxing massage...

great place for relaxing and massage. Everyone that works there cares so much about your experience while you are there, especially the owners. The massage therapist are all fabulous . And the tea and champagne delicious!!!!

5 Stars for Urbana. My votes for anything "massage" go to Urbana. They have proven to me many times that they are the best in Charlotte or any other city I've recieved massage in. I have gotten various types of massage there. All great. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone there and often do.

recommended!. i live in south charlotte and had seen the sign for this place for quite some time, just never found the time to go there. when my regular massuse moved, i thought i would take a chance. i had no idea what would be hidden in this shopping center at the corner of highway 51 and carmel road. it is one of the too few cool places in charlotte and i had no idea i would find a massuse better than the one i had for several years. seeing john fox there before my massage clued me in and i certainly wasn't disappointed.

5-Star, all the way.. This is an edited version of my original post. I was previously disappointed because I had an expired gift certificate (by 3 weeks) that I was told could not be redeemed. Nancy, the owner, addressed this personally and saw to it that it was honored. My visit to Urbana was wonderfully relaxing. The tea selection is great -- vanilla latte and pumpkin spice were the two that I tried, and loved -- but the massage upstaged everything. I chose the Coconut Infusion massage and I highly recommend it along with the therapist (Alicia, whose name I may be mispelling). I'll definitely be back. Great customer service, great atmosphere -- a winning combo.
