Great!!!!!!.
My husband and I visited Old Stone for our birthday 5-16-11, and it was an excellent experience! We received the " Couples Night Out", it consisted of appetizer, entree, desert, and bottle of wine( $49.95). My husband and I both had the sundried tomato and goat cheese..it was very good. My husband had the new york strip, well done, with seasoned vegetables, and the double decker key lime pie. I had the char grilled atlantic salmon with seasoned vegetables, and the triple chocolate cake. The food was EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend Old Stone! We plan on making this one of our "special ocassion restuarants"

Poor steak for a steakhouse..
My wife and I drove into Belmont from Charlotte to eat here, Service was good, food, not. I started with a rather expensive appetizer of their BBQ ribs, which included 5 or 6 tiny babyback ribs, with very little meat on them. Drenched in an overpowering sauce. But the kicker was the 14 oz. cowboy ribeye I got, thinking steak was their specialty. Steak although ordered medium, was rubbery-tough. It reminded me of a steak that was frozen. After waiting 35 minutes for it, despite being the first customers in the place, I didn't want to wait. The manager's response was lachodasic, at best. I didn't want a free meal, I wanted him to know we wouldn't be back and why. He didn't care. A shame.
