He determined there was a problem with the transmission and gave me a few options for repair. I had the work done there and the car was fixed in just 2 days. They did a great job. It has been 4 months and everything is much better than before. Thank you.
I have been taking my Hyundai to Twin Transmission since 2010. They do excellent work, have always been honest with me about the repairs that needed to be done and do not try to upsell! They do a great job and I would send friends their way!
These guys did an awesome job with my transmission. They were not the highest price and not the lowest out of the three quotes I had received, but after getting my car back and going through the repair process, I know I made the right decision. They were great to work with. A+
We are very happy with the work done on our Dodge Caravan. Each member of the staff at Twin Transmission was very helpful. We would refer them to others.
After doing a search on Angie's List, I found Twin Automotive and based on the positive reviews, decided to give them a call. I talked to Paul (the owner), who was very much aware of the Nissan Pathfinder transmission issue. He gave me an immediate quote of $3295 and explained in great detail what caused the issue and what was necessary to fix it. I mentioned the catalytic converter and timing chain diagnosis as well. I decided to give him my business based on his knowledge of my specific issue. Twin Automotive handled the towing from Modern Nissan, and Paul called me the following week with the diagnosis. He confirmed the transmission failure, the need for a catalytic converter replacement, but said that my timing chain did not need to be serviced at all! Total estimate was around $3700. Quite an improvement over the 8K estimate by Modern Nissan. Also, this fell on the low end of what I had read other people had paid for Nissan Pathfinder transmission replacement on the internet. I agreed to do the needed services and also asked him to do an oil change. The service was completed as expected and they allowed us to apply a $200 coupon off of transmission repair - total cost about $3500.I couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend Twin Automotive for automotive services. If you have a Nissan with the coolant leak transmission issue - Paul is the guy to see!
I came in thinking that I had a transmission problem and may have needed a rebuild. Paul looked at the car and called me back to let me know that the car did not need a rebuild, but the sensors were just dirty and needed to be cleaned. They did just that and my car works perfect. If you need any kind of auto work done, call Twin because they are probably the most honest shop I have ever dealt with!!!
Twin did a great job on my timing belt replacement. Very happy and would go to them again if needed.
Thank you for making the process so easy from estimate to scheduling to completion of work. You have a professional and courteous team!
I first dealt with Twin Automotive & Transmission Repair a few years ago when my daughter had an issue with her Ford Explorer. I had a great experience then, so when my transmission failed in my Honda, I knew exactly where to go. My experience with Twin reinforced that I had made the right decision. Thanks to you and all of the team for a great example of meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
I had originally called them and 2 others for a price on a transmission rebuild for my Acura. Needless to say a Acura rebuild is very costly and I kind of expected that, but to save a few hundred dollars, I went with another shop that was probably about 15 minutes from Twin's location. The other shop was horrible to deal with; it took 2 days to do the rebuild and then it died on me, so they rebuilt it again --- in the end I had to have the car towed out and taken to Twin Transmission. Paul, the owner, was very helpful, and after looking at the car, he was able to diagnose what the real problem was AND he was able to fix what the other shop couldn't. I ended up having to pay the other shop for what they didnt fix and am currently in a lawsuit with them. Paul, Twin Transmission on the other hand, was super helpful from the getgo and I am truly sorry I didn't go with them first. If you are reading this review, please listen to my warning and DO NOT GO WITH THE LOWER PRICES, especially by shops with little or no reputation.
