Great food and great service. I go to this location frequently for lunch and dinner when in town. The food is really good and although it's a little pricy for the area, it's well worth it. I am partial to the Delmonico steak with Augratin potatoes and the BLT salad. The staff is always friendly and outgoing and the bartenders make a really mean dirty martini with blue cheese olives. I have become a huge fan of their bartenders, Jeromy and Cathy in particular. They are personable without being too familiar and professional without being stuffy. They've always made me feel welcome when dining alone and have gone out of their way to be hospitable. I keep going back for the excellent service and terriffic food. If you're in the Charlotte area, skip over the tired chains all over WT Harris and give this place a try.

New location in South Park Does Not Disapoint. I have been a fan of Firebirds for as long asI have lived in Charlotte. I dined at their South Park location last week and was quite pleased.

The food remains delicious and plentiful. We started with the lobster queso dip and their signature BLT salad. Their homemade ranch dressing is awesome.

For dinner I ordered the sesame encrusted salmon with a side of mashed potatoes. As always, the service was great - our server was knowledgeable, witty and happy to be there.

Yikes. Typically we enjoy our experience at Firebirds. However, tonight we were treated horribly. Originally we were told the patio was "first come, first serve". I think most Americans would take this to mean that when a table is open you can seat yourself.

This is exactly what we did. We were then asked not to sit there by the manager. I apologized and explained what we were told. He said that is was in fact "first come first serve" but that there were two other people on the list in front of us. ???? A little annoyed and confused "I said... so it isn't first come first serve?" And again he said it was there were just other people (who we never saw) ahead of us. ???? At any rate we decided to stay because I wanted their salad...

Then our waitress all but ignored us while having conversations with her other tables... who were drinking heavily (running up a tab). All in all it took us about 2 hours to get our salads, eat, and finally get her to take our money so we could leave. (While never getting the refills on our water.) We were so upset. Then from two tables behind us the customers she was chatting with started saying loudly "we have had great service! We will give you a tip. You are very happy here". This was all obviously for our ears. She must have been talking about us. She was right we didn't give her a good tip. We left 10%... which was too much but we are kind people who don't want to be mean...

I was so disappointed. No one offered us any sincere condolences or any discounts... which weren’t our goal but...

I cried on the way home. I have never been treated with such distain! We are nice people who get along with just about anyone. Oh well. I guess we will have to find a new restaurant with good crab cake salads.

Great food and atmosphere.... I took my wife here for our "date" night. We had a wonderful time. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. It seemed a little pricey for two people but not too bad. I would definitely recommend.

Incredible BLT Salad!. I met my brother at the Northlake Firebirds for lunch and the BLT Salad was incredible. Our service was great, appetizers and food were out on time and our drinks were always full. Wonderful relaxing back atmosphere and the decor was very inviting. We both enjoyed our meal and we will be back!
