Service: Awesome. Zahava is SUPER friendly and experienced, and will give you just want you want. My second time in, I explained that I wanted a different cut and she totally delivered. I was so in love with my hair when I left, and the minute I did I got numerous compliments from people.

Trendiness factor: This salon is super gay-friendly; from the salon owner and especially the staff. If you are gay, you are going to want to be here. If you are straight, you are going to want to be in here hoping that the "beautiful" gene will rub off on you or you can hope to breathe it in.

Vibe: Everyone who works there is really personable and you can tell they work really well together. From the receptionist, to the owner, to the stylist..... everyone is awesome and you find yourself wanting to hang out there.

Seriously, if you haven't been to the salon yet, you should go. No need to scroll to read more reviews, just book your apt. You won't be disappointed.

My stylist. Cute salon, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. I've been going to Sonja for a couple years now and I would not let anyone else near my hair. She is a perfectionist. There is a reason why all the reviews here are 5 stars.

Best stylist. Pooran is the best hair stylist EVER!! She has been doing my color and cuts fro over ten years now, and I would follow her anywhere. Highly recommended!

Perfect place. This place is perfect! It’s a beautiful space. Everyone is really sweet and great at what they do. I hadn’t let anyone touch my hair in years and finally started getting my hair cut by Sonja. I had no clue my hair could look so good. She is absolutely amazing. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Super Salon. I would recommend Poza to any newcomer to the area as well as the person who just needs a fresh start! Everyone is hospitable and very well trained. I will definitely be back at Poza to see Nichole.

Awesome Salon!!!!!!. I had a great experience at Poza last week! So far they have been the only salon that has been able to acheive both the color and cut I wanted. Sonja did an awesome job and I will definately be a regular client there!!

This place is a fraud and ripoff. Do not go here. I took a photo of exactly how I wanted my hair, and the owner (who charges $85) decided that is not how my hair should be cut and decided to cut it very short in a style I would NEVER walk out of the house wearing - and doesn't work with my hair. In addition, she sold me $100 of products for a style that is hideous. I went back and spent an hour and a half with her telling me how what I want is wrong, that she could be just as hard-headed as me, drying my hair the exact same way she had styled it before, and refusing to cut anything or refund any money. Save your time, money, and frustration and stay away.

Best Salon in Charlotte! Excellent service. I had badly damaged hair when I walked into Poza. Owners Sara and Pooran immediately made me feel welcome and were confident they could help me. Sara and Nicole took care of me. They are an amazing team and I walked out with a beautiful cut and color as well as a new attitude! My self esteem is back and I had a wonderful time. The salon is very comfortable and relaxing. I could have stayed there all day. The staff is very professional and friendly. It is evident that they truly care about their clients and take the time to explain what they are doing and how they can make you look absolutely fabulous! I grew up in Charlotte and have been to many different salons here always looking for that extra something special. I found it at Poza Salon. Thank you ladies! You've made me a client for life!

Stay Away! Stay Away! Stay Away!. Hi!! Yeah many overconfident hairdressers think they are one of the best in business and we the customers are fools and don't know anything about style....

Over priced, Pretentious and Bad haricuts. You get the idea... Please, do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.

Best of the Best. Lets face it - feeling great about your hair has an uncanny way of just making you feel great all over! Add to the end result a welcoming reception and an overall relaxing and pampering experience and well, an afternoon of pure bliss ensues. That would be the Poza experience in a nutshell.

New to Charlotte and very particular about my tresses, I was one of the fortunate ones to find Poza Salon. I have lived in NYC and Los Angeles, and I have had access to the best of the best - celebrity stylists that I've paid big bucks to make me look great. I've also paid for some really bad experiences -THAT you won't get at Poza.

From the moment I first called, I was conveniently booked and reassured about my stylist, Sonja. I usually go straight to the owner for an initial cut but, based on reviews of Sonja, I decided to roll the dice. Sonja was fantastic -even her best reviews don't do justice. She listed to what I wanted, evaluated my hair condition & color and, after a consult with the owner thrown into the mix, she literally transformed my tresses back to spectacular.

My appointment was in June and, since then, I waited too long & had a cut out of the area-wow. While ok (but not spectacular), I was immediately reminded of not only how great Sonja's cut & color were, but how both held up over time-the sign of a truly great cut. I cannot wait to get back to Charlotte, to Sonja's expertise and to the Poza overall experience.

Poza rates among the best of the best without hesitation.
