Self-Esteem Booster!!!. I like you, was looking on Citysearch for an excellent salon in the Charlotte area. I've been in Charlotte for over 10 years and have been to many of the "upscale" salons that say they are "modern" & they are so good, the name is used twice. Neither one of those places impressed me quite as much as Poza. Sonja was my stylist & will remain my stylist. I have to drive quite a distance from Ballantyne to visit her but it is well worth the drive & the gas. The salon itself was very quaint & definitely relaxing. The haircut service was phenomenol. Sonja explained to me how to style my hair like no other stylist has. My hair feels remarkable and I can't wait to use the products they sell in the salon. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a new, fresh place.

Hidden gem salon. My experience at Poza will not be my last. I felt confident and comfortable after the thorough consultation that I would be getting a style that fit my face, personality and lifestyle and that is exactly what I got! My time getting ready in the morning has been cut in half and the cut and color is a lot more fitting for me. Thank you Poza girls:)

A Day in Heaven. It was free for training. I was scared. I was cheating on my then current stylist. Zahava asked me very intelligent questions about what I wanted. She did not throw the "talk" at me (chunky, natural, layers). A person can get confused with these terms. Natural what??? Natural color or natural highlights (thick, thin, blended.. heck.. I don't know the difference)? A style and color is more about personality, well, and face shape and skin coloring. I was lost. Sonja was my lovely stylist and Zahava was by her side to tell her what to watch for. For example, my hair is fine and dries wavy very quickly. One side starts curling before the other.. I have cowlicks that have to be addressed and I never knew what to do with them. The color was shiny and beautiful. They instructed me and also listened to what I was looking for. No lab rat here. They all are wonderful women. At one time, I had to take my 6 year old daughter with me and they were very patient. A great place to go. Very down-to-Earth experienced stylists. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Salon!. Poza provided the best experience I've ever had in a Charlotte salon. Everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere of the salon is calm and peaceful. Sonja gave me the best color and cut I've had in 10 years! Her passion for and knowledge about hair radiate from her, and it was wonderful to finally have a hair stylist who cares deepy about what she does. Much thanks Poza and Sonja!

Best Salon in Charlotte!. I've never enjoyed my time at a salon like I did at Poza. I was recommended by a friend to have Pooran do my hair. She was warm and very attentive the entire time. My hair has never looked better! I definitly look forward to my next appointment! Thanks Pooran and Poza!!

great results. I was thrilled at the results of my experience at Poza. It was a wonderful, relaxing break from my day, not to mention a beautifully blended, natural looking hair color that was exactly what I was trying to acheive. Thank you guys! I will definately be back:)

All about the look with flair. My first visit to Poza will surely not be the last. I was treated like royalty the moment I walked through the door and was thrilled at the results. A professional environment with an accent on making sure the client is comfortable and my stylist, Sonja, was exceptional. She took the time to listen before starting anything and had several outstanding styling suggestions that I never thought of before now. I look forward to my next visit to try some ideas out and I am sure with the same outstanding results

Finally! Someone understands my hair. I moved to Charlotte last summer and had the hardest time finding a hairdresser that could work with my hair. I have very curly,hard to manage curl and every stylist I have gone to in this town want to give me layers. I end up with HUGE unruly mess! Zahava( one of the owners) told me that she trained in London at Vidal Academy and learned specifacally how to cut curly hair the right way. I got the best haircut I have ever had, not to mention instruction on how to style it correctly! For all you girls with curls twist em' don't just scrunch. That technique is amazing! Wih I could give 10 stars *******

I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone!!. I first met Zahava at a well known salon in Charlotte when I was looking for someone to save me from a bad hair coloring experience...and sure enough she saved me! A while back she called to let me know she and her partner were opening their own salon off Park Road and wanted to know if I would like to come there instead. Over a year later, I have loved every hair color, cut and style and do not plan on trying anyone new. She is very attentive, listens to every concern and gives great recommendations...not to mention VERY talented. The hair products are top of the line, and the house they renovated is adorable.

phenomenal. The staff listen to what you want out of your cut, color and style. They are very talented and informative. Make you feel listened to, and when you leave, you will look better than ever! Great products there too!
