Every good BBQ....some of the best I have had in the Charlotte Area

I went here with a group of friends and we all had excellent meals. We had a variety from chopped BBQ to ribs and theyr were really good and tender. Not even the chopped BBQ was dry ,which is a problem at some places.
The sauce is very good and is somewhere between an eastern NC vinegar sause and a western NC tomato based sause. Good spice with a little twang from the vinegar. Not too much for the heat for the "tender tongue", but enough depth of flavor for the BBQ lover.
You can see why this is an award winning BBQ.
The service was great. Our server was attentive without being obtrusive and kept our glasses filled and any requests handled.
Al in all a pleasurable expierence and worth the drive to Monroe from Charlotte.
Also easy to find....Roosevelt Blvd is what Independence Blvd turns into in Monroe.
