I was just searching for a new hair salon on the internet. And I found Armis Salon and Spa website. I'm so glad that I did! Everybody was so nice and friendly. My stylist was Courtney Benzerga. I had never had my hair highlighted and she picked out the perfect colors! I was also impressed by the Bumble and Bumble products. I'm definitely going back!

I loved Armani's I went to Anna Maria and went from long hair to a pixie first meeting! She did amazing, listened to everything and was super personal! I would definitely go back and I love my new cut!

Great salon experience.. My sisters friend recommended this salon to me after i had a falling out with stylist. Not gonna lie, I am VERY PICKY when it comes to getting my hair done. Armis lived up to all of my expectations. Not only does my hair look great, it is exactly what I had imagined (rare someone can do that) and the whole experience was great. She took her time the salon was clean and relaxing. I had a glass of wine while I was there and just really felt comfortable. Armis is so personable too! Overall; best salon experience I've had in awhile.. I understand now why Maritsa had recommended her to me and I will definitely recommend her to others!

RECOMMEND A VISIT. I'd like to thank Armis Salon for 3 reasons. 1st one being my wife's hair. She looks incredible and she feels great with her new haircut! She had such a great time at your spa with the hair and facial package I bought her for mother's day this year. Definitely crowned me as best husband this year! Amen! 2nd reason: Since my wife could NOT stop going on about how wonderful her salon visit was she insisted I get my hair cut there as well. Now I am not a fancy guy and I was a little reluctant about walking into what I thought may be a "stuffy" environment.. boy was I wrong! The salon sure is classy but Armis was so welcoming and polite you couldn't help but be comfortable. Plus she cut my hair exactly as I asked her to.. No one has ever done that! The third reason I want to thank Armis is for not killing my wallet. As a new customer I received a discount for my hair and my wife even received a voucher for money off her next service for referring me.

Armis is fair, super nice, and very talented. Try her out!

LOVED THIS SALON!!! Do yourself the favor and give it a try!!

I have been living here in Charlotte almost two years now and over that time I have had not one, but several awful salon experiences.. what a relief to have found Armis and her tasteful salon!

I found out about Armis from a woman at my gym and did some research, after reading through some of her reviews and pictures I decided to make an appointment. (The 30% OFF coupon I found for new clients on her facebook was the deal sealer!)

I scheduled an appointment for after work and when I arrived after a long day it was the perfect environment to walk into for some relaxation. Armis greeted me warmly and gave me a consultation; asking questions and even more importantly, listening to the answers! We discussed what colors and styles would work best for me. After we made our decision Armis got straight to work mixing my color and even pouring me a glass of wine.

She has a great personality and her talent is unmatched! I love love love my hair and I get complimented all the time, I always recommend Armis to people who comment on my hair.

The salon is comfortable and relaxing, Armis is professional and fun, and the pricing is beyond fair. I will absolutely return to Armis, she's now officially acquired a loyal client!!!

I recommend 100%!!

False Advertisement. I received a card that had an offer 30% off your first visit, 20% off second and 10% off your third. The day before my wedding I had my pedicure and nails done elsewhere but had an appointment to get my eyelash extensions done, I was told I could not use the coupon because I am not getting the full service. No where on the card does it say must use full services. The lady was rude. I did not have my pedicure done there as I wanted to have it with my daughter and they only have 1 station so we could not have it done at the same time. Lousy customer service!

Always great service!. I started going to Armis thanks to her awesome coupons in the coupon clipper. Turns out it was a good idea. I have been to her several times for highlights and a cut and I've always walked out feeling that my hair looked great. She does the highlights exactly the way I ask her to do them (heavy and close to the scalp).

I plan to go back to Armis very soon!

Not Impressed!. I decided to venture in to Armis Salon after the prices at several other salons I frequented kept going up and after reading all the excellent reviews here on City Search.

Big mistake.

The first warning sign should have been that my appointment was at 11:30am on a Saturday...and I was the only one there! At every salon I've ever been to there are always at least 3-7 stylists booked throughout the day. At Armis you could hear crickets. When I asked about the lack of hub-bub on a Saturday I was told by Armis, "Oh, our stylists don't work weekends". Um...ok.

I decided I would let that go and we moved on to doing my highlights. I was very clear in the fact I wanted a partial highlight. Not having had highlights for several years I wasn't really sure what to expect. However, after seeing my hair in the mirror I had a full head of highlights! Not what I asked for at all!

Then there was the haircut. Ouch! She cut my hair taking off a bit more than I wanted (I went in for a trim and clean up) but, I'm pretty relaxed about my hair, so I went along with it. Then she started to texturize (unevenly) and thin it out (not enough). After she was through she blow-dried it, styled it and rang me up.

It wasn't until later that day as I was getting ready for an event that I noticed that my hair was uneven. I'm talking at least 1/2 of an inch off on the right hand side (enough for my husband to notice)! That's not the worst part. I asked her to undercut my hair (as it has a habit of flipping out in the back). Instead, after she weed-whacked it in the back all it does is flip out. Plus, she missed several pieces of my hair in the back so it now looks as though I have a really odd mullet.

After waiting 8 hours for a call-back from Armis for a refund. She gave me the money back for the haircut. I really believe she should have given me a compete refund for both the highlights and haircut (as I will invariably need to get them both redone professionally), but c'est la vie.

I learned two very valuable lessons from this experience:

1.) Do not be swayed by this salons "first time customer" deals. The heartache is not worth it.

2.) I will never again complain about the prices at my old salon...which I had to make an appointment with for next week to fix the hack job done at Armis.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. What a great experience at Armis' Salon...Armis gives an absolute great cut. I went the 1st time for just a cut and was very pleased. The second time Armis did highlights and the cut..it's just great. Menopause has done a hormonal number on my hair and it's been thinning on the top :-(...Armis did a great job of listening to my concerns to help me come up w/a sassy, cut..and great color. Thanks Armis!
