I just don't understand..... I was pretty excited to try this place after the reviews. Came from NY where I have yet to find a place that has great pizza. This place was okay. Sauce is bland. We also got the Chicken Marsala, I swear it tasted like there was no sauce on it...another bland, no flavored dish. Makes me wonder who wrote all these reviews because I'm unimpressed.

Palones Pizza. All I have to say is this is the best pizza I have had so far in Charlotte and I been to them all, Brooklyn Pizza, Lorenzos Pizza, Marios and this place is by far the best. So far I have tried their sicilian, meatlovers and supreme and they were all great. i did try their cheeseburger pizza and it was ok, but this place is the real deal. Their chicken marsala was excellent and I just tried their rainbow cookies, very good. I live 20 minutes away and it is definately worth the drive.

Overpriced for what you get. I was surprised to see the positive reviews posted on this site. Palones is one of the most expensive pizzerias in charlotte, $14.25 for plain cheese before tax. I live less than 3 miles from palones but drive past it every friday to go to Lorenzos. I wouldn't have a problem with the price if they put a good amount of cheese, and toppings but they do not. I also have a freind that had a problem with her food there and the owner wouldn't do anything for her, and told her that he didn't need her business. The owner is known as the "pizza nazi" in our neighborhood for his poor service skills. How did they get "best of " rating?

Lovable Pizza. WOW! Thats all i have to say! This place was amazing. I could really feel the happiness curcling around me. I just absolutely loved their pizza! It was nothing that I have ever tasted, ever! I keep going to palone's everyday now. Just after that one bite. So many different things you can try. Mmm, Mmm, good!

Magnificent. I have tried this place and thought it was going to be awful, i mean just think of the name. But i doughted this store, this was one of the best pizza places ever! I couldn't imagine anyone who wouldn't like there pizza, magnifecnt piece of work, wonderful pizza. Please check it out.

So glad I finally tried this place. I heard a few neighbors talking about this place and finally tried it. I wish I had gone there before going to the other pizza places in the area. This is authentic NY Pizza! Try their buffalo chicken pizza, it's the best pizza I've ever had.... and I'm from Brooklyn NY.

Great Pizza and Rainbow Cookies. I heard about this palce from a friend who found it by accident. Glad I tried it. The sicilian marinara pizza was great and I bought rainbow cookies to bring home and ate most of them in the car. Next time I will try the cheesecake that my friend raved about. Great Place!

Affordable NY style pizza with personal service. Good pizza and other Italian dishes served quickly at a good price. Easy to get in and out of Fountains Shopping Center - also ample parking without a long walk. Sidewalk or inside seating available. I go there primarily for a quick lunch on my own or with business associates.
