What a wonderful place!!. When I read the bad reviews I could not believe my eyes, has to be a competitor...why else. Yes, sometimes Diana is really busy and that is good , this means she is helping our and other people's pets.

Diana is so knowledgeable, I wish I could remember even half of what she tells me. I have been a customer since she opened, it was a good store then but is even better now with even more items to choose from.

. When I first got my Cocker she had a sensitive stomach and Diana recommended holistic food which worked. Later she developed skin allergies to grass and needed something different.

Pawtique is not in any way like Petsmart or the other stores mentioned, Diana sells only the best and highest quality items. It is not as expensive as the food my Vet. sold me that did not work and I did not even have to pay her for her advice. Pawtique truely has your pet's best well-being in mind. I have no reason not to return.

Your pets will be THANKING you!. WOW, where do I start, I wish for my cats and dogs sake that I had found this store sooner. They don't just sell food and supplements, they actually know about them. After talking to them I have such a great understanding for what I need and how to really take care of my pets. MY VET recommended that I talk to them after nothing she has tried has worked for my dog's allergies. Getting all my other pets healthy was just an added bonus. Plus their groomer Tammy is amazing, I have been to groomers all over town and no one comes close to her! I love this place!

Passion. As a former employee of Pawtique, I speak from an in depth knowledge of what Pawtique is all about. Diana, the owner, has an intense passion to help heal as many dogs and cats with the very best foods, treats, and natural supplements available on the market. She is so dedicated in sharing her vast knowledge of what works and what doesn't work with any one who needs it. She wants to help every dog or cat that she can. We saw many, many dogs and cats overcome health issues just by changing their food. To those reviewers, who had a bad experience, I'm sorry that you missed out on the knowledge that you could have gained to help your pets, if you'd been more patient. DIana was probably busy looking up an ailment to help a customer or thinking about the ingredients of a new dog food and you confused her preoccupation with rudeness.

Best of the Best Pet Shop for 2008 by Charlotte Magazine. There is obviously a threatened competitor writing bad reviews or having them written about Pawtique. There is no way the store owner of Pawtique or any of their employees would ever tell a customer they don't love their pet because of what they feed, even if it was Science Diet, Purina, or those horrible prescription diets. Pawtique is the only TRULY holistic pet store in Charlotte. The owner has been trained in nutrition and supplements and takes a great deal of time to help the customers. Customers drive from far away to get help.

The owner knows the customers may not drive the distance over and over to buy the product , and still Diana spends time helping the guardians help their pets. Pawtique is making a difference and it's a shame some competitors will go to such lengths when feeling threatened.

mean and rude. The owner and staff make you feel like you are dumb if you don't agree with everything they say. I'm a busy person and I love my dog, she travels with me all of the time. We have a very hectic life style and are unable to feed a raw diet. My dog is with me 24/7 and a feed Evo. Which is a very good food, not according to them. They are mean and rude she actually had the nerve to tell me I didn't love me dog. I would never recommend Pawtique and I don't think she will be in business very long. Obviously she has a lot of money backing her because she isn't making it on customer service.

Love to Shop Here. I look forward to running out of dog food so I can go to Pawtique. It is a very cool looking store, interesting decor, neat things to look at and learn about. I never see it all. Diana, the owner, will make lots of suggestions if you are seeking such. I have tried, and continue to buy, the frozen bone marrow bones and pet food that has helped my skin allergy suffering dog. Lots of cute collars and neat leash systems. There are lots of small sample bags of dog foods so you can see if your pet likes them first. She also always has a plate of fresh baked cookies on the counter and coffee by the cup if you ask. I like to hang out there, browse the store and take in the atmosphere!

Pet store and beyond!. I take my two dogs to Pawtique for grooming, food, treats and joint care . The owner has helped my dogs get rid of their allergies and chronic ear infections just by changing their food. The groomer is wonderful and my dogs are always happy to walk in the front door. Of course my kids love walking in and being greeted my Beau the rescue cat.

Fantastic store!. I love this store and have shopped there since it opened. Diana, the owner is so knowledgeable when it comes to recommending alternatives to medicine, for many common health concerns, pertaining to pets. You can tell that she is passionate, and really cares about the animals. She takes time to educate and offer suggestions to many common problems such as allergies, kidney problems, and anxiety. I have recommended her to many friends, who are struggling with pets with allergies. Just by changing their diet, these animals have greatly improved. In many cases the allergies are totally eliminated. I wish more folks were educated on the dangers of steroids, and other commonly prescribed pharmeceuticals, that harm our pets. If folks would try alternative approaches..I think they would be pleased, and amazed! Diet plays a huge part in our pets health. The staff at Pawtique, takes time to educate, recommend products, and really listen to the pet owner. My senior dog is now on a raw diet, which I purchase there, in frozen form. He loves it! My other two dogs are on a wheat free dry food, which they really like, and and based on my independent research, it is one of the best foods on the market. I give Pawtique 5 stars +PLUS!!!!! But go and visit yourself, its on the corner of 485 & Johnston Road. So easy to get to, another reason why I love it!

Excellent Store. I have shopped at this speciality pet shop a couple of times and found the owner to be extremely knowledgeable on what type of food is best. I have a cat with allergies and she was able to pinpoint what would be best for his problems. And the selection of healthy food they offer is astounding. A definite "two thumbs up"
