Oh-oh

I'm scared. Whenever I'm craving a really great burger, Hef's is the place. Been there many times over the years.
Drove by a couple days ago and noticed a sign saying, "Hef's Grand Re-Opening!" That could mean a new owner....or not. I hope not. I've seen too many new owners of restaurants take over and decide to increase their bottom line by going to cheaper cuts of meats. Hef's burgers are the tastiest in Charlotte and I hope they stay that way.

Good Place For Dinner And a Couple Drinks

I have eaten at Hef's many times over the years and every time it's consistently good. The staff (I believe owners) who work the bar and pretty much run the place are extremely nice and accommodating.
The food is decent pub fare, I haven't had anything yet that knocked me off my seat, but it is of better quality than most bar/pub fare. I've had the burger, chicken Caesar wrap and french dip which were all good. I tried the chicken wings one evening and was a little disappointed as they weren't too crispy, but would be willing to try again.
The drinks are moderately priced for the area with the occasional special.
Hef's has a nice neighborhood feel in a busy shopping center which makes it nice. The patio seating is minimal due to the shared space with Ben & Jerry's, WAM, Duckworths and whatever else is down there.

Cozy bar atmosphere

I live close by and love going to Hef's! It's a great place to get drinks and a delicious burger, my favorite is the BBQ Burger. My boyfriend always gets the wraps and they are full of flavor. The bartenders/waiters are always really nice to talk to, but the atmosphere is my favorite. It's dimly lit and feels very cozy. It's always a top spot for us to get food, whether dining in or ordering take out.
- Pros: Cool, neighborhood bar
- Cons: On the smaller side, so don't take a huge crowd

Friendly Bar with GREAT bar food

I eat at hefs alot and every time it is great, my fall back is the black and bleu burger but the wraps are great too, the southwestern one inperticular. The staff is friendly and it just feels very welcoming. Only downside is parking in the shopping center but it is well worth the trouble to park. For new people its hard to find because it is tucked in the corner and is real easy to miss

Great Bar Food...Great spot

I asked our waiter (who I think was the owner) what he recommended and gave it to me straight...they have a kick a$$ wraps and their burgers are awesome. He was dead on...my gf had the Black & Bleu which was awesome and I had the Southwest Chicken wrap that was one of the best wraps I've had at a bar. We were all pleasantly surprised at how good the fries were b/c they didn't look amazing.
Go here and try this place...Why, b/c I SAID SO! I didn't see the Blonde's side to know what was going on....can anyone help me out for the next time I go?
