Amazing Ribs, Brisket and Blues. The Ribs and Beef Brisket were amazing. As far as the eats, hopefully I came on a typical night and not a exceptional one. Even though the place was a little more crowded than we have seen it before, the food and service were both top-notch. I have nothing to complain about, smiles all around. Everyone at our table loved the fried pickles except me, but they all said it was an acquired taste. I quess the pickles would be my only complaint.

This is my sixth time going to The Little Dooey, but my first time for a meal. I was very much satisfied. I usually go only for drinks and to see a band. I'm a avid blues fan, I go see any blues band I hear or read about that play locally. My wife showed me a local newspaper that listed The Blues Providers playing at The Little Dooey on 11/8, so we gathered a few friends and went. The paper was 100% correct in stating the band was their entertainment pick of the weekend. The band as a whole was great. Really good guitar player and rhythm section, but what made the band great for me was the harmonica player. The only time I have heard a blues harp player locally that played on that level of expertise would be at the Charlotte blues bar hotspot, when a big name blues astist was there, you blues fans know the bar I am speaking of. The best blues band and the best harmonica player I have ever heard from the area. If you want the total BBQ experience go to The Little Dooey BBQ and Blues when The Bluers Providers play you won't be dissapointed. We have seen several of the more famous local blues bands play there before, but this band was by far the best of the lot. The area has a few BBQ joints and a few blues bands, but Little Dooey and The Blues Providers are both the REAL DEAL.

Tell the restaurant and the band you read this here. I hail from Mississippi, the ribs and the band both remind me of home. A wonderful evening all around. I highly recomend a trip to The Little Dooey BBQ and Blues.

Great BBQ. The BBQ is back. After a BBQ break, I went back for the first time in months. The food is now as good as it was when they started. I quit going because the food and service got real bad. But now the food is great and so was the service. The ribs were some of the best i've had in Charlotte. And the band that played would have made the trip worthwile if the food had been bad, the blues band was The Blues Providers. We will see them whenever they play there. I'll recomend The Little Dooey for the massive improvement in quality over the previous owner. Try the fried dill pickles, sounds weird, but very tasty.

If you like BBQ go, if you like blues go when The Blues Providers play.

Some of the Best Ribs in NC. Don't let the mall location fool you, because if this ain't true southern BBQ I don't know what is! The deep fried pork ribs are a must try experience! And, I'm addicted to the deep fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. The wait staff are very friendly and they keep the cold and refreshing sweet tea coming on those hot afternoons....Awesome BBQ Period!!

Best ribs anywhere!. Wow! This place has really awesome ribs! If you have had ribs from Texas Roadhouse, this place is the closest I've had to it! I always get a combination platter with ribs and pulled pork. The side items (turnip greens, waffle fries) are a little salty for my taste, but the meat was really good. The only criticism? Maybe it's just me, but I don't think that this restaurant has dessert!

I love the Dooey. This is the best BBQ that I have had in a VERY long time. I visited the restaurant last weekend when Robin Rogers was playing and had a great time. This will be my "home away from home" every weekend!

Finally, TRUE BBQ in Concord. I love this place! The fried pickles with ranch dressing are fabulous...and addictive! Each time I've been to The Little Dooey, the staff has been friendly and helpful. Not only is the BBQ great but so is the entertainment. A good place to hang out and catch some live blues music on the weekends.

BEST BBQ JOINT in Charlotte!!. The Little Dooey has the best BBQ, catfish and blues music in the area. There is no better place to hear live blues. The atmosphere is great and the people are friendly. I order the catfish fingers and ribs everytime I visit! The Little Dooey is a must for any BBQ and Blues lover.

Best Mississippi barbeque anywhere, best blues anywhere, attentive service, I left fat and happy. Fun Place. Not too expensive. Barbeque reminded me of some rare deep south bbq experiences in the past. I really loved the Smokey Sauce on my pork sandwich. They featured music you don't normally find in Charlotte, a great change of pace. The atmosphere reminded me of good times in New Orleans, Memphis, and the Mississippi Delta. This place knows how to do it!! I'm sure to be back sometime soon.

Best barbeque and sevice. What a wonderful restaurant! Great ribs and barbeque. The sauce was very good too. The music is a nice addition without being to loud. Nice way to end a long day of shopping. Fast and friendly service! Highly recommend.
