Competent, Caring & Friendly Staff

I adopted an 8 yo Beagle and found this clinic online. For 1-1/2 years, we were treated like family. Gracie was seen by Dr. Horton, Dr. Cheeseman and Dr. Loveless. and received the best of care by all. Sadly, I had Gracie put down last year and Dr. Cheeseman tried to prepare me. She thought Gracie was older than I was told, and knew she had serious problems. When I took her to be put down, it was the most loving and compassionate service that ever could be offered. One of the nurses put a blanket on the floor so that I could hold Gracie, and while I was trying hard to keep it together, Dr. Cheeseman let her tears flow as she administered the cocktail to Gracie. Now I have another 8 yo and of course we go to Harris Blvd. Vet Clinic.
- Pros: Caring, friendly and they really love animals
- Cons: The wait time -- they hate to turn patients away
Wonderful Vet
by pennymack at Citysearch
I recently moved to Charlotte and as a housewarming gift my brother gave me a puppy. Per the breeders instructions I had 72 hours to take the dog to the vet and get a checkup. If I didn't I couldn't get a refund of my money if anything was wrong with the dog.
I found a vet close to my house and made an appointment. When I arrived at the vet they informed me that the doctor canceled my appt and I would need to reschedule a week later. I told them my story and that it would be too late. They didn't care. So I told them to forget about it I would find another vet.
I went home and started looking for another vet. I was discouraged because it was the last day and it was already 4:30pm. I found Harris Blvd Vet and figured what the heck let me see if they will take me. They said if you can get here by 5:30pm we will see you.
I raced over and was greeted by the NICEST people ever. I was a little worried after reading the two reviews about rude front desk people. They must have let that person go. They were so wonderful and attentive.
A week later, I changed my dogs food and she began vomitting. As a new owner I panicked. I called them and once again they told me to come right over (it was closing time again). Dr. Cheeseman saw my dog and gave me some medicine. She called me for 3 straight days from her cell phone to make sure my dog was ok.
Dr. Cheeseman and the staff at Harris Blvd are wonderful and I would recommend them to any and everyone.
Hope this review helps.
- Pros: caring and considerate
Fantastic awesome caring vets and great staff

We have been going to Harris Blvd. vet clinic for 3 years now. Through that time, They cared for our aging Golden and 6 months after we moved here sadly, we had to put him down. The vets were sooo compassionate. We then adopted our St Bernard. He had some major medical issues and required emergencey surgery to save his life . All the vets came in on their day off and saved him. We just ahd Charlotte our 10 year old St bernard put down as she could no longer walk. The vets were amazing and caring an called us to see how we were. Our 5 yr old St Bernard is doing wonderfully, (the one they operated on). He also went through a second serious surgery. These vets are outstanding. Heather the hospital manager is fantastic. and he staff has always been caring, professional and compassionate towards us.I will go to them as long as they are there. They have us as lifelong clients.
- Pros: compassion,caring, wonderful people
- Cons: none
Awesome Staff! Fabulous Service! Great Care!

The staff is INCREDIBLE! Extremely friendly, always greet me by my name and ALWAYS greet my dog with kisses and cuddles. Dr. Cheeseman is an incredible vet. Extremely passionate about the care she provides, and about your pet. I've never felt more comfortable having someone care for my pets, as I do than with the folks at Harris Blvd Vet Clinic. Rubi thinks it's a fun trip to go visit the vet. She gets very excited when I tell her we are going, and thinks it's too much fun. To me, seeing her happy, is a true testament to just how wonderfully treated she is there. She recently had a lump removed from her paw, and I received the best care and follow-up attention that I could have ever asked for. Dr. Cheeseman called us to make sure Rubi was doing well. Everytime I called, the staff always asked how she was doing. If you want quality service, great care, attention to every detail about your pet, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in great hands.....bring them to Harris Boulevard Vet Clinic. You won't be disappointed!
- Pros: Great staff, informative vets, great service, follow-up care always provided
- Cons: often have a long wait on Saturdays, so book your appointments during the week
Great service and People

I have been coming to this clinic for many many years now. I have never met a great group of people. When you walk into the office, it does not smell like a vet office. When I walked into the clinic, Heather, was all ready for me. She was very up beat and wanted to talk to me about my day and about Daisy my dog. I loved being put into a room right away. Dr Horton, the new Dr, has been a great addition to the staff there. They put my mind at ease about Daisy and I knew that she would be okay.
I have never met a more kind and caring group of individuals. I send everyone I know there. If you have a pet, please go see them.
- Pros: Smell, Friendly, At home atomesphere, professional service, promptness
