not military friendly. would not recommend for families one of my sons who was home on leave took me out to eat i thought it would be good to walk him down streets that grew up on we were in the tavren waiting on food he hates that i smoke so i step out back and stood by the door to smoke and i was told to go back inside and smoke the rudeness came when the people out back came in and told everyone what had happened i guess if i had been 20 with cell phone on my ear i would have not been rudely asked to leave and the no military discount

GREAT FOOD, NICE STAFF,,COLD BEER. SOLSTICE IS A FRIENDLY PLACE TO GO AND CHILL.IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYONE WHEN YOU GO THERE YOU WILL LEAVE KNOWING AT LEAST 5.. FOOD IS GREAT AND HAS GREAT PRESENTATION. THE STAFF ARE ALL NICE AND VERY HELPFULL.. BIG CHANGES IN THE PAST 5 MONTHS FOR THE BEST I MIGHT ADD..GREAT JOB...LOVE THIS PLACE,,,

Warm Beer & Poor Service. As someone who once frequented Solsitce Tavern close to once a week I'm sorry to say that I will not be returning or recomending it to anyone. Once I had finished a decent meal (I have never had a problem with any of the food) I tried to purchase my second Red Oak I was told that it was not in stock. After asking for Yuengling then Blue Moon the bartender rudely explaind to me that these beers were not being served because they were not cold at the moment. When i asked if i could have my finally chosen Fat Tire for the price of Yuengling (A price difference of .50) They Ogre type manager tore himself away from the video game he was playing to tell me that was not possible.Rude Staff and poor service is no way to run a buisness.

WORST EVER. The cooks at night are dirty they look like they just got finnished working in a grease pit . I was in the bathroom and a very tall cook came out of the stall and didnt was his hands and I watched him go right back into the kitchen and start cooking food I was very grossed out. I went to complain to the owner but he was no help he was DRUNK!!! what a way to run a bussiness

Not a red neck bar. This is not a red neck bar. This is the perfect place to people watch! There are all kinds of people that go in there. It's a great place to catch a game or grab a drink with your friends.

I liked it!. Well I just so happen to really like Solstice. I love the location. NODA needed a small sports bar. I enjoyed the food as well. I thought it had a really nice feel to it.

when theres nothing else to do. IT'S NOT A BAD PLACE TO GO FOR A FEW DRINKS DURING THE WEEK WHEN YOU JUST WANT TO RELAX WITHOUT A BIG SCENE BUT OTHER THAN THAT I DON'T RECOMMEND IT AND DON'T EAT THERE I DID TWICE AND GOT SICK BOTH TIMES DON'T CHANCE IT!!!

DO NOT GO HERE, YOU'LL BE SORRY I PROMISE.. Its lame, the music is horrible, the people are horrible, there is nothing to do except watch old, ugly men oogle little girls and watch their beer bellys grow. For those of you who go here on a regular basis,I pitty you because you have to be just incredibly lame. The only remotely cool people that were in there were my friends and one of them had a bad run in with a couple red necks. They were verbally abusive about his race and just flat out violent. They also made some remarks on his sexuality. So if your a loser red neck, down to have some DARN TOOTIN FUN! Come on down to the dive bar on Davidson where you can find all the same kind as you. UGLY, FAT, AND WORTHLESS.

This did not mean to offend those of you who go here, just save your reputations....and DON'T.

Great Sandwiches and Drinks. The sandwiches are great. It's a cool and friendly atmosphere. The staff is warm. The only downside is it can get EXTREMELY smoky. :-/

True Neighborhood Bar!. Great atmosphere with great food. I recommend it for a weekday happy hour, last spot before going home or dropping in after a gallery crawl. The feel is relaxed and it's great for people watching!
