Best Asian and/or Spanish restaurant in Charlotte. Zen has a fanastic Asian and Spanish combination of food that is the best in Charlotte. Surprisingly, the desserts are also along the very best in Charlotte. The staff is very friendly. Ask for the Neal as your waiter on Wed,Fri,, and Sat evenings and compare him to the best waiters you have ever had and he will rank at or near the top.

Always Happy with Zen's Anything!. I only have positive things to say about Zen Asian Fusion. From the time you walk in the door, friendly people, knowledgeable staff, polite, know their food they are serving, and prompt service. I have ordered the same dish on separate occasions and the meals are 'right on' every time with consistency of quality. Their pecan encrusted ahi tuna is so exceptional, I have a hard time making myself try something different. Ample portions, I wind up taking almost half of mine home. Every soup we've ordered has left nothing to be desired, and the spices are intricate. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. Parking is easy. Do go, you will not be disappointed.

Craving some Zen. We frequent Zen Asian Fusion at least once a week. The food is always consistently good. The staff is welcoming and I get a "Thank you" when I walk out of the door regardless if we spend $10 or $100. That's appreciation!

Decent. Although the concept of Fusion is so 90's, overall this is a pretty decent "Fusion" restaurant comparing to the others. Don't understand the concept behind these Fusion restaurants. Most of the cooks are Chinese with minimal formal culinary training. A can of coconut milk, curry powder and butter don't translate "Fusion".

Delightful Evening at new Zen Asian Fusion in Dilworth. My friends and I went to Zen for the first time. We live in the dilworth neighborhood and had to try it. We had a fantastic time at Zen. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We tried several of their appetizers (salt and pepper calamary, ginger mussels, tuna tataki, and their chicken lettuce cups) everything was so delicious and good portions. It was a thursday evening so they had a Zengria (red wine cocktail) Special which was tasty and affordable. Overall we welcome Zen in our neighborhood and definitely will go back.

Best Asian Cusine in Charlotte, Very Unique, Wonderful Ambiance. This restaurant is very unique to Charlotte. It has a New York, trendy feel and at the same time is also personal with a quaint ambiance. The food is terrific! Start with an appetizer such as the tuna tataki or the grilled calamari that comes with a fresh chimmie churrie sauce and you will not be disappointed. Next, try one of many delicious entrees...my favorite is the Seabass. Lastly, end your evening with a vietnamese coffee and their house desert, Tres Leches (a three milk cake). I have been dining at this restaurent ever since the restaurant opened in October of 2005.

Best Asian Fusion Restaurant. I frequently eat at Zen and everytime the food and service has been wonderful. I normally like to order their appetizers and share with friends. The portions are plentiful to share and wonderful value as well. The staffs at Zen are very friend and personable. The ambience is very trendy, welcoming and comfortable. So far this is the best Asian cuisine restaurant to go to in Charlotte.

Great food, great service, great place!. I went to dinner on a Friday night, and the service was great! We were seated fairly quickly for a friday. They have a great list of tapas, and their entrees are delightful! I had the pork and brocolli dish, and I didn't even need a knife to cut the pork. It was so tender and flavorful. I tried my date's meal which was Hong Kong Sea Bass. It was so dense and also had tons of flavor! I recommend this restaurant to anyone. The prices are not bad either!
