I have very fine hair but a lot of it so it is challenging at best. Amy has to be the best colorist I've ever seen. She is just a natural at it and because of that I was comfortable enough to try very different than I've ever had. It always looked great.

I tried the Keratin straightening treatment and I did the Express version and because my hair is so fine, it worked better than expected. My hair is terribly fuzzy and it gave it a sleek, shiny, straight look. It actually lasted on my hair for several months instead of up to a couple of months.

He will give you a style to match your personality. My hair is so easy to take care of now, from formal events to casual days on the beach!

The cuts are superb...and never lose the shape as my hair grows! The style flatters my face and the color is exactly the color I always wanted.

When people ask me if I am a "natural red-head", my reply is always "I am NOW!"

Long, Straight, Fine was my thing ... UNTIL NOW!!!

I've struggled for years with long, straight, fine (yes - boring) hair. And I take low-maintenance to a whole new level... some days -- ok, most days --- a brush doesn't come near this hair. And a blow dryer? Probably a total of 20 times if my life.

I've been all over Charlotte -- I've read reviews, tried multiple places -- always looking for the same thing, a hair style that would give me some body, some oomph, some appeal. And I guess what I needed all along, was some SHINE!

I've been to Amy twice now, and I can't describe how much I love my hair. The first time it was like watching Edward Scissorhands -- hair was flying, combs were dancing, hands were waving -- Amy tried some new techniques she had just learned in NY, and needless to say, they worked! My hair was swaying and moving in ways it had never done before. It was like a Samba on my head! The layers she created actually looked natural -- like I was just born this way.... yep, the kind you want!

And my most recent experience didn't disappoint either... it is a subtley different hairstyle from the first, and yet still captures the FUN, the natureness that I wanted. My hair finally feels like me... and I can still happily tip my head over after a long shower, run my fingers through my hair, stand up and go! It's that easy!

I came into Shine skeptical - and I left a lifelong customer. I can't give a higher recommendation.

Lisa colored and cut my hair. It looks wonderful! My color has never looked this good. Not only is she a fabulous stylist, Lisa is genuinely sweet!! :) I highly recommend her to all.

To say I am picky about my hair is an understatement but I heard good things about Lisa C. from a friend and I'm sure glad I went to her. She didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want but actually listened and got was I was saying. She was able to give me the look I wanted and explained how I could maintain it at home. I received so many complements on my "great cut"! I'm also kind of picky about my highlights and they turned out perfect! Better than I even pictured.
