DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Constant problems since we moved in. We were not allowed to view the actual unit we were moving into beforehand, which should have been a red flag. The AC was broken upon move-in, which meant we had to move all our belongings in 90 degree summer heat. Fortunately, the maintenance guy is the only good thing about this place, and he had the AC running that night.
We noticed the morning after move-in that the garage door to the parking level, which was right below the master bedroom window, makes A LOT of noise and goes up and down about 90 times between 6am and 9am. It literally sounded like an animal being slaughtered. This is something that should have been disclosed before the lease was signed, especially since we weren't able to view the unit. We demanded a rent reduction or a move to another unit at the management's expense. They offered a $100/mo. rent reduction or they would move us to a comparable unit in another bldg on the side opposite the garage door. We accepted the second option.
In retrospect, we should've stayed in the first unit. The neighbors above us sound like a herd of elephants. I'm not an extremely noise-sensitive person. It's clear to me that the walls and floors/ceilings in these apartments are extremely thin. You can actually hear the stomping of footsteps and wooden boards creaking and popping as the neighbors upstairs walk around.
From the outside, this looks like a nice place to live, but looks are deceiving. This place is not even close to being worth the outrageous price. Look elsewhere.
