Purchased diamond earrings, IMMEDIATELY after purchasing the earrings, the post detached from the earring while I was unscrewing the "screw-on back" off the post of the earring to remove the earring from store cardboard packaging. They refused to give me a refund for their defective merchandise then told me that I broke it. They were very rude and nasty and threated to call the police on me if I did not leave their store. The soldering of the earring was defective. Under normal circumstance one would have to repeatly bend the post of the earring back and forth inorder for it to snap off or detach from the rest of the earring. Which I definitely did not do and it would clearly be evident if that had been done. Why would anyone purchase a pair of earrings then deliberately break them?
