“magic fingers”
by Franco NC at Citysearch
I have been a member of Massage Envy at South Park for three years now and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about trying massage therapy. Is one of the best decisions I’ve made. One of my former co-workers recommended I try it…I tell friends about it and have also purchased gift cards which were received very well.
They offer early and late hour options, also open seven days a week! I particularly like the pre-pay option they have. Amy is the manager at my location, she is very nice, always professional and willing to help! My absolute favorite for therapy is Terry, she is a jewel. I call her “magic fingers”, she has a world of knowledge in this field and has been at it for many years…she is extremely caring and always willing to make you feel better!
I appreciate the opportunity to share one of the happy things that I look forward to every time I have a massage!

Finally relaxed!

I honestly do not understand all of these bad reviews before mine. My first experence was a great one. I had an appointment and showed up a bit earlier, but they took me back as soon as I got there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Danielle did an excellent job working out the ongoing pain in my lower back. I've already made my next appointment and cannot wait to go back. I would recommend this spa to everyone.
Horrible experience

Massage Envy did not deliver a good experience for me. The lobby was crowded and noisy as I checked in. My therapist was running late and I am certain that I only got about 40 to 45 minutes of massage. I could have gotten past all of this if the massage had been good, but unfortunately it was choppy and wierd. I have had many great massages before, but this was not one of them.
I am making sure my friends and family don't go here.
Something's shady

Wow, what awesome reviews. Many apparently written by their employees and the owners themselves. Don't buy the 4+ star overall rating - they are padding it themselves. Most of them sound like they were written by the ME marketing staff. Try Eden in SouthEnd instead.
Welcoming Facility, Something Was Just Off About It

Had my first Massage Envy massage yesterday and overall enjoyed the experience. I had purchased a new member 90 minute massage for a pretty hefty discount offered through the store.
Upon entering the aromas are immediately calming, but the waiting area at the entry way was full of people and little strange. After checking in and waiting for a little, I began to see the volume of people that come in and out of this place. Now I'm not sure that I can accurately say that it affects the craft, but I have always gone to smaller boutiques where its pretty quiet and not a lot of commotion going on which made it a little more relaxing and gave it a more personal feel.
The massage was nice, 90 minute and very little time was wasted stalling and undressing. I think I was being massaged for about 85 of those minutes. It was a combo trigger/sweedish massage with pretty good pressure and it definitely made a couple muscles relax...but then again, this is to be expected if you work in a facility of any kind.
I'm not sure i'd be back to this place, I think I enjoy the smaller massage therapy boutiques.
- Pros: Friendly Staff, Decent Massage Techniques, Moderate Price
- Cons: Too Many Appointments Seems Like A Factory In-And-Out
