Great Food, Clean Restaurant, and Friendly Owners. I try to eat at Little Village Grill everytime I go downtown because the food is amazing. I get the chicken sub on wheat, fries and a drink almost every time I go. They have the best fries in Charlotte, the best chiken sub I have ever eaten, and really good sweet tea. It also has one of the highest sanitation scores in all of Charlotte.

The owners are always really nice. They know my order right as I walk in even if I haven't been there in a while, and they are always friendly, even when they are busy.

Sit outside, enjoy the fresh air, and eat some great food for a good price.

Response to the "Lettuce Lady". When a customer calls Little Village to say that their order was wrong, the first thing we do is ask questions to see who made this mistake. On the rare occasion that it is our fault we will actually deliver the correct order to our customer, provided they have the first order to exchange. When it is a customer’s fault we explain that we can remedy the situation and, in this case give instructions on how to order the sandwich correctly so that there is no repeat the next time. On the menu it says mayo, grilled onions, provolone cheese, the customer was asked if she ordered lettuce and she said no. She was simply told to say "cheesesteak plus lettuce" next time. When we offered to give her lettuce, that was not good enough so we offered a full refund and that was not good enough. We understand that she had thirty minutes for lunch and told her if she wanted she could bring the sandwich after getting off of work and we would refund, that was not good enough. What she wanted was to eat the delicious cheesesteak , and get a free one the next day. We are a small, family owned and operated restaurant and we can not afford to stay in business that way .Like she said all that was wrong was some missing lettuce.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! SPEND UR $$ WISELY. I have been going to this place out of convience for a while. Today was the worse experience I could have never imagined. My food was not right so I called back. I was chastised (by the owner) about not properly ordering my food. The owner (a lady) was very mean and nasty. She offered for me to bring it back and she would add some lettuce to it since that was all that was wrong (not remake it, just add letttuce) I let her know i couldn't come back today due to a 30 min lunch period & there was no compassion. I was told if i didnt bring it back today I would have a problem. I will be returning with law enforcement due to the way i was treated. I am amazed that they have been there for so long. She is only concerned about the next dollar and not making her customers happy so that they keep returning or spreading the word about their business. I have never seen a commercial for this place so they operate by word of mouth. It is not worth it spend your money where it is APPRECIATED & not just expected !!!!

Best cheeseburgers. I love the Cheeseburgers, the gyros, and they chicken gyros. You cant go wrong the service is awesome.
