Worst service EVER!!!!. I chose Energize for my Brazilian underarm and leg waxing service because they are located in my neighborhood. I was so disappointed by the service that I received there that I didn't even end up getting my underarms waxed. I knew going into the waxing that it was going to be painful but didn't anticipate the bruises that I received. I have been told by reputable spas that this doesn't happen with a professional. She never pulled my skin taut. I left in tears because I was covered in wax and still had so much hair remaining. I called to speak with the manager the following day to complain about my service AND the fact that my credit card was charged twice for the full amount and she made excuses for the staff. I can't believe that she didn't even apologize for my bad service or offer a refund or credit of any type. She told me that I would be calling her to apologize. This place is not clean and not professional. Please think twice about going there. I promised myself that I wouldn't write a review until I calmed down. It has been a week and a half since my service and I am still disgruntled. Next time, I will pay the extra money and go to a better salon and spa in Charlotte. Please, please beware.

Worst Salon Experience in Charlotte. I had my eyebrows waxed at Energize today. While the staff was courteous and they took me a few minutes early, the actual service was terrible. My eyebrows are completely uneven. The aesthetician could not even find the tweezers (and she never did). I sat in an old office chair for the entire appointment with the door wide open. The salon itself was dirty and completely empty. I do not recommend Energize. I have received excellent service over the past 5 years at Modern Salon. If you are seeking salon services, do yourself a favor and visit one of the Modern Salon locations.

BEST FACIALS IN CHARLOTTE!!!!. Energize Salon Day spa is the best place in charlotte to get a facial or body treatment!! i had the best facial with Alaina. She was kind understanding and very informational. I was relaxed in a heartbeat! My skin felt and looked completely diffrent when she was done! I also had my hair cut and colored by katrina who is hilarious! She did the best job ever. i will NEVER stray from this spa or my two favorite girls. Everyone in charlotte should be coming here!!

Found a great new hairstylist. I went to Energize salon to see Ty for a color and cut after being referred by a coworker of mine and was so pleased with the results I immedietly rescheduled for another appt with him for my touch up. He listened and did exactly what I asked for and was so personable with me I was very impressed. I was also glad to hear he does nails as well the prices for mani and pedi's are a little more expensive than I usually pay but he does such a great job at hair I can;t wait to try him out for a pedicure. The owner came and suggested products for me and was very knowledgable so far a great place to go for services and while there was treated very friendly by the front desk girl.

energize me baby. I've been to energize many times, Ty does my hair and he is awesome! I get a foil and cut at a good prize.. And i look fabulous, my hair does too!! I recommend him to everyone who wants to look as good as me!!!!

best salon experience ever!!!. I went to energize salon today, 4/28/07. I arrived 5 minutes early and was taken right away. Le the owner cut my hair and it was the best cut i ever had! Debbie waxed my brows and gave me deep tissue massage and my back feels 10 times better! Everyone was professional and friendly, I would deffinetly recommened this salon to everyone.

looking good!. I went to get a haircut on Saturday, I was a walk in and I waited maybe a minute and was offered some water and a magazine! Georgina cut my hair she was pleasant and did a good job..My hair looks awesome and the cut was much needed. The service was fast and the people were friendly!

fun and relaxing environment!. I have been to this salon several times!!! First to get my hair done by Jessica she listened to want i wanted and told me the best way to achieve it!! My hair looked great!! Then i went for a manicure and pedicure with Ty my nails looked great and he was very funny! I Also had a facial by Debbie and she was relaxing and taught me a lot about skin care!! Over all I'd say they employees were nice and imformative!

Expensive. This salon is overpriced for what you get. Plus, the stylist was kind of stuck up. I expect they will not be in business long.

Too expensive. I went here on Saturday and they are very much overpriced for what you get. It looks like a chic salon, but is was not. The people seemed unfriendly and like they were annoyed I wanted a walk in hair cut. From what I read here, they are not that great, so I won't be back.
