New Ownership. This place is under new owership and the place is great. Juliano is using all fresh ingredients and some of the special dishes he makes are outstanding. The Bella Pasta is one of the best on the menu. If you haven't tried the meatball sub, that is a must. The pizzas are made in an oven that makes the crust perfect. Nothing commercial about this place.. all dishes are fresh. He also has the best bread sticks. New wait staff too are very efficent and friendly. We eat here about once a week.

Should have walked out.. A friend and I went in to eat on a Thursday night. It was my second time, a second chance, because the first time had been poor. The first thing you would see is that the decor was disturbing. Pictures of actors with black eyes painted on the walls were surely misplaced. The booths with a print of cattle ranches on them - surely this belonged somewhere out west? There was music playing, a single guitar player. He played a cliche' Italian song accoustically, but still too loudly for the otherwise silent dining area. Two other tables were seated in the "main" dining area; a group of four and of two. The second table (of two) were not guests, but waitreses, practicing flash cards and talking loudly to a waitress emerging from the kitchen. A pattern: Each time someone emerged from the kitchen (which was very loud - not of pots and pans but of raised voices) a waitress would yell something to the other person through the silent dining room. We learned, among other things that need not to be yelled through the dining room, that the opinion of one waitress was that someone, assuming another waitress, looked white but was actually argentinian..

The Piece de resistance, that truly set the tone for this experience, was the salad and cheese bread. The salad, a pale, wilting iceberg plate with one tomato slice and two cucumber slices kept company by a small pre portioned cup of caesar dressing also left much to be desired. The cheese bread came out, pale, congealed, sad. Against our better judgement we tried it. We did not finish it.

The entrees were sad, the sauce tasted canned, watery. It was three minutes into eating my baked ziti that I even realised it was "meat" sauce. The ziti had a nice bite but was far from good quality. We did not finish our entrees. $39, minus a small tip, paid for meals that were dissappointing.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Go to Olive Garden; their food is more "Homemade" than here. That's really saying something.

Friendly and warm with the best pasta and strombolis ever!. This is the best place to eat in Concord. It's a little hard to find unless you know where it is as you can't see it easily off of the main road(hwy 29). The owners are super friendly and they make everything fresh. The pastas are awesome but you have to try the pizzas and strombolis, oh and the calzones too. They also make a specialty pizza from Argentina and empanadas(little meat pies) that are addicting. You just have to go and try it yourself.

Terrific food, great service, authentic cuisine.. We love this place. We eat here, either in the restaurant or carry out, once a week or so. The portions are HUGE and well worth taking home! The prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding.

Best chicken florentine EVER. Homemade canolis .. made to order. Great place.
