This lady is CRAZY.... DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY HER OR WORK FOR HER....... She does the easy quick and lazy way when doing hair... she does a horrible job!!!!! Ive heard so many complaints about her!!!!!! BE CAREFUL BECAUSE SHE OVER CHARGES WHEN USING NO PRODUCT!!!!!!!!

Best hair colorist around. I have had the great pleasue of knowing Darlene Walters for many years. I live in the Winston Salem Nc area. In 1991 I was a resident of Archdale Nc. That is where my experiences with Darlen began. She had a salon in Archdale Nc. I began her services then. She had the best hours and always accommodated me when I needed a last minute appointment. She picked up and moved to the Concard NC area a few years ago. I was devastated. She was professional enough to advise all her customers of her relocation. I along with others have followed her to her new location. Some people would ask why? Well it is very simple of all the times I have been a client of others no one has ever made me look and feel more beautiful, and isn't that what it is all about? There are times I can't make it to her and I let someone else try to do the cut she does , to say the least I always regreat it because then I have to go get it corrected by Darlene. Her Salon is clean and her other employees very friendly. I have never had the service that I experience from Darlene. Yes I do travel 60 miles plus one way but let me tell you I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have been in her shop and have seen first hand on others how great she is. i.e. a woman walked in that had been to another salon to get colr on her hair , well I thought it was runined to my amazement she worked in the client and the client left very happy. I could go on and on . So my advise to anyone is try it you will LIKE it..

Very very very very good hair cut here!. My hair was a mess. I had long hair about 3 weeks ago and went to the mall where they could cut it right then. Big mistake cause it was all gapped up and they took more than I wanted. So a friend told me to go where her mom goes and they'd fix it. Well that was the second mess up. That lady couldn't do any better. So I thought I was done & decided to just let it grow out since no one could cut my thick hair. I went to A Finer Image with my friend when she had an appointment. Of course the topic of my bad 2 haircuts came up & Darlene Walters asked me to take it out of the ponytail & let her see it. She agreed the cut was awful but told me she could fix it if I'd let her cut it just a little shorter and showed pictures of what she had in mind. I agreed but had my doubts after 2 bad experiences. She said she didn't have any appointments available for haircut for a while but she stayed late to work me in that same night since I was there. She said it was that bad. She washed my hair and cut it and only dryed it a little so it wasn't dripping cause it was late. I thought the cut was great but she told me to stop by again after I fixed it one day. OH MY GOSH! It is awesome! She not only fixed the cut, but she did what she said she could do AND I think it looks longer if that's possible. I am very very very very very happy with my new haircut and NO ONE besides Darlene will EVER cut my hair again! She rocks!

Best Possible Hair Services Anywhere!. Let me tell you, there is NO one any more particular about their hair. My job puts me in the spotlight and it's imperative that I look good at all times. Darlene Walters is quite the perfectionist when it comes to providing her clients with the best hair services. She's a phenominal colorist and can absolutely work miracles in my opinion. To call her haircuts just a cut is indeed an understatement. She's an artist who sculpts the hair. I feel wonderful while I'm in her chair and always leave very satisfied. It's an excellent salon and I will always be a faithful client of Darlene's.

Fabulous!. Have never had better cut or color. Darlene knows her stuff. she is amazing. Very professional, nice lady. I'm sure you'll be happy with her services. I know I am.
