Great atmosphere, accommodating staff!. Had a GREAT experience at Eez Fusion. Went in for a carryout order after seeing a movie at Regal and the waiter was so overwhelmingly helpful as well as the ladies at the entry. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Wish we were dining in, seems like it would have been fun..but we were in hurry to beat the rain. I would definitely recommend though.
Family Favorite. My family and I frequent EEZ 3-4 times per month. We love it so much that we live in Concord and are willing to drive the 45 minutes from our house just to eat there. We have always had a great experience with them. There is such a huge selection on the menu that we are able to try something new each time we go. The quality of their food is amazing and very tasty. They also have a great drink selection. The servers are also extremely knowledgeable, especially about the sushi options and give great recommendations. We can just describe to them what we are in the mood for and they make the best suggestions. I have a 14 month old son. He also loves EEZ. They are very considerate of him and make sure that his food is brought out as soon as possible so that he does not have the time to get cranky. When my family comes from out of town, they always ask to come to EEZ for dinner. We love the people and the atmosphere.
Recent Experience. I am a frequent customer to EEZ and when I went in a couple weeks ago, there were two women sitting outside so I go in to ask to sit outside and was told I could not that they were sitting outside because they were smoking. I said well surely the waiter can handle more than one table & the manager that responded was new I had never seen her before. She was very rude, nothing I had ever experienced at EEZ before and had even previously called the owner to tell him how good a certain manager he had was. Even the hostess said "I apologize for her." So after several minutes of being confrontational with each other we ended up not being able to sit outside, so we ask for a specific waiter and were not given him either! However, every table beside of us had him! (ON ALL SIDES). The manager was giving us looks the entire time and my experience was very uncomfortable, so we paid and left. I have not been back since this & attempts to contact the owner about it were not successful. EEZ is the only place I go to for sushi, however I refuse to go to some where that I am not respected and valued as a customer. EEZ has lost a customer that spends a good amount of money there 2-3 times a week!
Great sushi and vegetarian options!.
The sushi here is great! They even have a build your own 'cheat sheet' for beginners :) The vegetarian options are also plentiful and if your'e tired of tofu, they have soya, which has much more texture. I ordered the creat your own style meal and loved the vegetable bar. Basically you pick a noodle or rice, a sauce, a protein and then you head to a vegetable bar and load up a bowl with your favorites.
The atmosphere is really relaxed for lunch and gets a little fancier for dinner. Outside dining is available and is perfect for the summer evenings.
It is definitely my favorite place to dine when I'm in Huntersville.
Good sushi in North Charlotte.
Eez has a very hip feel to it that's only accentuated by a crowd that shows up to preen for each other rather than to eat sushi. Don't let this deter you from visiting - the food quality is worth making the trip. Eez is located off I77N and is quite convenient for the North Charlotte crowd.
Sashimi here is tasty, though fish varieties are a bit limited. Lots of rolls to choose from including a bunch of non-traditional preperations (such as rolls involving filet mignon). Try a few things you don't recognize; most of the menu is delicious.
The bar is unfortunately not up to snuff; I don't know what's up with the drinks they mix but I haven't been able to find one I like. (Not for lack of trying, either.) While I don't expect purity in ethnic cuisine from a place that classifies itself as "fusion", I do draw the line when Sangria turns out purple and tastes like Kool-Aid.
Go for the food and the people watching. Weekday evenings are excellent times to visit. Weekends may be more of a challenge. Eez doesn't do reservations that I know of, but you can leave your name and cell phone number with the hostess, then wander Birkdale Commons - they'll call when a table is ready.
Trendy and fun. Overall a fun place. I lived in Chicago and Seattle before moving here and miss the buzz and this place has it. Not the best sushi but definitely passable and rolls are pretty good. I go more for the mood. But dress to impress on weekends!
Great sushi, cuisine, service and non-smoking. This restaurant has consistently served good food at a good price. The owner is hands on and operates a tight ship. The recent addition of a quality sushi bar has just made an already good restaurant better. The suchi is excellent and at the time of this writing much of it was being flown in overnight from Hawaii. Great place to have a quick bite before a movie or have an extended meal experience with good friends.
BEST SUSHI IN NC BY FAR!!!.
If you want to have good quality sushi in NC this is the place to go..... The sushi here is a little bit more pricer than Sushi 101 and Nakato, but its way worth the money.
Otherwise, everything else on the menu is just average. This place is more of an "american style" version of thai, vietnamese and chinese food.... The entree are a little bit OVERPRICE; and isn't all that great...
This is a place that is really busy in the evening time and waiting time is usually about 20-40 minutes.
not impressed. I use to go 2 years ago in this sushi bar when they still make the sushi inside and it was the best sushi I ever had specially the bake roll from the chef "WOWWWW" I recently visited this place and they change the name and the sushi. it;s not the same anymore before it's worth waiting for now it's even worst. well have to move on to the best sushi somewhere.
BEST SUSHI in town.... The sushi is always fresh and flavorful. The chefs do a superb job of presenting their rolls. The sushi menu is very extensive and innovative. Be sure to sit at the sushi bar and try the Tropical Storm or ask the chefs to be creative to meet your taste buds. The customer service is excellent with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. However, I wouldn't recommend the entrees from the kitchen; the food is not your typical Asian cuisine, you're better off dining at P.F Chang's...
