Divine intervention. My hair colour and cut was screwed up badly at SYNERGY SALON in Sycamore Commons a few months back. I saw the high light was too yellow, but couldn't define the real mistakes. The Harmony manager sat w/me for 20 mins and explained that SYNERGY made my blonde hi lite too much ash/too little gold (olive complexion) with this info I was able to go back to Synergy and explain precisely what they did wrong and got ALL MY MONEY BACK. I'll be back to see you, Harmony when I need colour again!

Great Facial with Scott. I recently had a facial by Scott and it was fabulous. The experience was relaxing and rejuvinating. I liked being able to select the scents used during the facial and attention to my skincare needs. It was wonderful to not fell rushed and have Scott's undivided attention as he applied the facial treatments. Will be back!

Great Stylist & Affordable Salon. I left Harmony Salon pleasantly surprised and impressed. Starr did an outstanding job and exceeded my expectations. Her understanding of what color and cut I was looking for was right on point. She also gave me some great suggestions about color maintenance and Aveda products without being pretentious or pushy. I left feeling that I had received terrific service and I highly recommend Starr to anyone looking for a stylist. Added bonus...the services here are more affordable than many other salons & they were very accommodating to squeeze me in on short notice as one of the last clients of the day.

Ask for Scott for an awesome brow wax.. I have been going to Harmony for many years for my hair and brow wax. Most recently, I have had my brows waxed by Scott on two separate occasions. This guy is amazing! He is a perfectionist and truly the best waxer out there.

Great experience / except reception. I am new to Charlotte and tried this salon twice so far. Once for color - loved it. And another for a cut - loved that too! I received comments on my hair immediately afterwards by strangers on the street. I must agree, however, about the front desk. The first time I walked in, I almost walked right back out. The front desk was scowling and unfriendly and I really got this snobbish feeling from them. They barely spoke, really didn't smile, and I don't believe they even said thank you. The owner or manager (not sure which one he was) was very pleasant and friendly though. The front desk kind of ruins the whole pleasant, spa-like experience. They are the first ones and the last ones you see so it kind of strips away the great experience of the scalp massage, beauty treatment, hair style once you have to go past the front desk.

Yeah, they try to push products on you, but so does everyone - even the people in the mall kiosks or the service staff in restaurants. Everyone has something to sell so you just have to learn to say "no thank you".

I found Harmony to be a good quality salon - especially Amanda and Nicole.

Beautiful Salon with Incredible Talent...but With Some Flaws.. After visiting Harmony for the first time recently, I have mixed emotions. The salon is in a beautiful shopping center and is spotless both inside and out. My initial reaction from the look of the salon was "class."

Staying on the positive note, I met with my new stylist and she was an absolute doll! She took the necessary time to discuss exactly what I was looking for an even made suggestions based on her experience. The best part was that I didn't feel rushed in any way. Even though I'm sure she was busy, she made me feel like I was her only client for the entire day. To keep this brief...my hair cut and color turned out absolutely wonderful! Even though I was nervous...as I always am getting my hair done...Amy (my stylist) was absolutely incredible! It is the best hair cut and color I've EVER had. Thanks so much Ms. Amy, you're a doll!

Now, on to the down side of my visit. When I first entered the salon, I was NOT greeted at all and actually felt like I was bothering the front desk girls. "Aren't I the customer?" In addition, after my service was complete, I felt very pressured to purchase the Aveda products. My stylist did inform me of the products she used on my hair and what products would benefit my hair style, which I thought was a great touch. BUT...several other people within the salon also tried to get me to buy products including those at the front counter. If I wanted to buy the products, I would have done so when my stylist mentioned them. I did not need to hear the sales pitch several times. Money is tight for everyone right now...buying additional products isn't always as easy as one would like.

Overall, I loved the salon and think my new "bob" is great! I would suggest however leaving the sales pitch at the door and just being happy with those customers still spending extra $$ on "luxuries."

I am pleased that you had an overall great experience and do want to comment on the two issues. It will be much appreciated if you can fill out our feed back form on our website as I will need to note the day and time you visited. First, every guest should be greeted as a friend with a sense of appreciation from our front desk staff.

Second, with regard to home maintenance. When a guest invests time and money in their service and go home and use products

that do not support that service, they can lose 1-4 weeks on that service. Example: color will fade out quickly if clarifiying or color inhibiting products are used. Cuts that have detail and texture will not show that work as much without proper styling products.

By using recommended products, your style will look better for a longer period of time and require less services needed throughout the year.

Overpriced, pushy with hair products. I visited this salon while on business. I found the prices to be high for the services given. I was very displeases by the pusy sales tatcitcs used to try to get me to buy over 200.00 in hair products. Needless to say they dont get the hint, no! The salon was clean- that is about the only good review I can give.

Always A Wonderful Experience!. My daughter Emily and I LOVE visiting Harmony Salon! Everyone there is so wonderful. We love the fact that every person you speak with really listens to your needs and follows through with your requests. Of course they also offer suggestions which have never let us down. Another thing we love about the salon is that it is so clean! What a healthy environment...We have tried several AVEDA products (hair, skin....even the tea!) All of them are outstanding! Everyone there is very professional and goes out of their way to make you feel special....you really should to visit Harmony Salon & Spa!

Beautiful salon, Great service, and Aveda!. I go to Blakeney often and decided to give them a try for a cut and high light.

When I got there they gave me a tour and was happy to see they do manicures and pedicures, they also do facials. The girl who did my hair was the best I ever had she went over everything she was going to do and

I agreed with what she sugested I wanted a change and now I feel beautiful! she even waxed my brows.

I love Aveda and found a new favorite The smooth prep makes my hair look and feel smooth and shine.

Thank you Heather I will be back for my hair and to try the facial you sugested!
