The Scene – Featuring progressive American cuisine from Sonoma's Pierre Bader, this a la carte eatery is housed in uptown's luxury Gateway Village. The exhibition kitchen lets passers-by catch a glimpse of the action, and the contemporary design, with dark wood and floor-to-ceiling windows, creates a chic ambience. – – The Food – An assortment of tapas-inspired creations dots the menu; diners customize their meals by selecting from appetizers, main courses and sides. The kitchen's strength is definitely in the starter courses and desserts--main courses are rather…
Beautiful Atmosphere with Excellent Food
by BaileyBWP
This place is amazing, we just had a great dinner with great service. The food was cooked perfectly, and the menu is so broad you can really make your own meal. I highly recommend the Parmesan fries they are fantastic. We also had the chocolate fondue which is really great to share with someone. Though I wouldn't recommend sharing it with more than 2 people. The salmon was to die for it could just melt in your mouth. Our waiter was very friendly but not too pushy and he didn't hover over the table, he always seem to be there at just the right moments. Overall this is a great place, beautiful on the inside - if you like modern styles. The food is the best part and the service was definitely excellent. I have been here before and I continue to come back for the great atmosphere, awesome food and wonderful service.
- Pros: Ambience, Service, Dessert, Wine List, Modern/Trendy Atmosphere
Dreadful acoustics
by Otranto
Appalling acoustics and noise level that made both conversation and communication with the wait staff impossible. The menu is simple and the food is subtly and well cooked and beautifully presented--but we couldn't wait to escape the din. Not recommended.
- Pros: Perfect salads, beautiful plating.
- Cons: Noise was painful.
one of the worst
by paulhoneycutt
We had a miserable time there. five of us had a reservation for 7pm on a friday night. There were only a few other parties in the restaurant that night, so it wasn't that busy but it took took forever to seated and to get our food, some of the entrees were wrong, the rest were cold. the manager? offered to comp some of the food, but what was the point, it seemed as if they couldn't get anything right that night at least. i gave them two stars instead of one, just because I have to believe we caught them on a very off night. There is no way a place thats been in business this long could've gotten so much wrong.
