DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SPA/SALON! THE OWNER (JAKE) IS UNREASONABLE AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! Over the past many years I have spent thousands of dollars with this Salon until I became offended by the owner. I bought a series of 6 massages in advance. The last 2 times my husband, it was extremely loud with lawn work and people talking loudly in the hall-Very unrelaxing for a spa massage experience. Then the 3rd time my husband went, they confirmed the appointment but forgot that the masseuse took off while he waited in his robe for 20 minutes. Then when the owners daughter (Brandy) came to let him know he was stood-up, he returned his towel and robe to the changing room. Then Brandy untruthfully accused him of taking all the towels and all of the robes and throwing them on the floor. My husband served 30 years in the military and is extremely orderly. Then Brandy's father (Jake-the owner) called made untrue accusations instead of apologizing profusely for standing him up for the massage. I have heard rumors that the owner is unreasonable to deal with and now I know its true. I used to love this spa and salon and the owner's wife is a gem. I can't recall being so insulted. Don't waste your money at VALERIS SALON AND SPA IN HUNTERSVILLE, NC.

After my third experience at Valeria, I decided not to go back. I would like to see a master stylist that can actually cut hair. I did not get what I paid for, and I am not a cheapskate or a hair snob. My stylist, Eddie, paid little attention to detail. He always seemed to be bored or daydreaming.

Best Haircolorist!. I have gone to Angie Casper for years at previous salon. She has now joined Valeria and I will follow her wherever she goes!! My blonde highlights have never looked better and get compliments all the time! Looks natural and worth every penny!!

Great Place. Im new to the area & my neighbor suggested I check this place out. All I can say is that I was impressed from the moment I drove up. Its a beautiful Salon, inside & out. The stylist who took care of me, Chad, was wonderful! I was comfortable the whole time I was there & left very happy!!!

I have already scheduled my next appt, along with, a couple of extra services that I did not know they provided. Just FYI......this is a Great Place!

I finally found April Kistler!!. Just thought I would let those who are clients of April Kistler (Esthetician) know where she is now working. After weeks of searching around I finally found her! She is at Azura Medical Spa of Lake Norman.

Such A Wonderful Salon. I have been to many salons/spas in my time, lots of good ones, plenty of bad ones too & I must say this is such a WONDERFUL salon.

I have such a relaxing & enjoyable time every single time I'm there. All of the girls that work there are fabulous: They are all well groomed & professional, very friendly & easy to converse with & most importantly they understand what I need, which is this: I want to relax when I'm there & look beautiful when I leave & they truly know how to get the job done.

Ladies, if your looking for a Salon/Spa to make part of your routine - hair, makeup, nails, etc..... give this place a chance, I think you will be very pleased when you leave!

Don't be mislead. I recently visited Valeria and was not happy at all with my service. After the service I was offered to write a nice review on this site to get a discounted service. I have a friend who wrote a review for the discount and as you can see most of the reviews are done for the same people!!! Don't waste your time on this salon.

Worth the drive!. I followed Angie and Erin from their previous spa with some trepidition because their other location was more convenient for me. I would have raved about Angie then because she is a fabulously talented stylist and colorist who pays close attention to her clients and figures out a cut that is not only lovely but that fits ones lifestyle and styling skills. She has steered me away from bad style mistakes, fixed them when I insisted, pointed me towards products that will make a difference in my life and generally is worth the effort. Erin, who is the aesthetician I see, has always done an artful job on my brows and has now done two facials (of a 3 facial package- another wonder). I've had facials before and thought they felt nice but never saw a difference in my skin--this time I did.

So both of these women are talented, wonderful and worth the extra drive; but here's something even better, SO IS VALARIA!! It is a lovely spa setting, aesthetically pleasing, clean, so much,let me repeat, SO MUCH nicer than the location where both previously worked. I will continue to go there. I have been impressed with the other people who work there; they are professional, very nice and genuinely a pleasure with which to interact.

I FOUND MY STYLIST!!!!. For 3 years I went to the most amazing stylist I have ever had, her name was Angie and she worked at a salon in the University area that I will NOT give them chance of mentioning during this post!

At the beginning of this year she left the salon to move to one closer to home & her old salon NO matter what, would NOT tell me where she went! I thought this was the most classless & unprofessional move a salon could make & I will never step foot back in their doors again.......

TO THE GREAT NEWS!!!! I found ANGIE, she is at Valeria Salon in Huntersville & when I tell you she is NOT replaceable, just ask my hair! Angie, I have missed you, my hair has missed you & if anyone needs anything done to their hair, please just call & make an appointment with Angie Casper! She is the BEST!

TERRIBLE. This place was a disaster. When I walked in the snobby girl at the desk was too busy to even bother asking if I needed help. When I told her I was there for an appt and gave her my name she told me I didn't have an appt. I showed her the appt card they gave me. She was soo RUDE! I was told 'well you are not in the computer so there is nothing I can do about it' I cant believe she would send a paying customer out the door!
