The food is pretty good for this place. I didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised. Portions are large, but also tasty. We have gone probably a half dozen times and except for two times the food was very good. Except for one time the service was good. It's a bit hokey and we laughed at the gaudy decor at first...but it has a 1950's charm about it.
- Pros: enough for a second meal the next day
- Cons: food could have a little more flavor

Great for families

It is not the best food ever, although with a 2 year old it is a great place to go. There you can avoid the glares you would normally get at a finer dinning restaurant. If you do not like kids and would prefer to eat somewhere quiet, go somewhere else.
- Pros: Great with kids, leave the tie at home
- Cons: not the place for my wedding anniversery

Folks!! This is a chain restaurant. It is average at best. Yes, they give you big ol' portions of food. Obviously, that is all that matters to the local yokels here in Charlotte.
If this is the best Italian restaurant that the area has to offer, then Charlotte needs a LOT of help.
Or, Charlotteans just need to get a hog trough to eat out of.
I am sure there is better Italian fare than this in the Big C.
- Pros: LOTS of food!! Come hungry.
- Cons: The food is very average at best. It is typical chain restaurant food. Like Olive Garden.
