i love charlotte.
my husband brought me to charlotte from virginia because i am a huge basketball fan. i had the privdledge of staying at the westin hotel.
my husband had made arrangements for the chef to due a special menu just for us.
living in large cities all of my life and eating at somr of the countrys best restaurants, i must say that i was suprised to find such a great chef in charlotte nc.
ps if the monkfish with harissa is on the menu order it!!!!5***********
awesome. great to find a place that serves great food, service
big city atmosphere. drawn into this great restaurant after a few drinks at the westins bar 10, what a treat it was to find this hidden gem. great food, great service and a great cordials list. I returned to give it a second chance and was suprised to find a completly diffrent menu, i guess i wont be having the tuna again. the gracious hostess informed me that the menu changes every couple of weeks, what a treat!
Upscale fare that's a fave among fans of Charlotte's flourishing uptown scene..
Housed in the swanky uptown Westin Hotel, this upscale grille features contemporary American cuisine with a Southern flair, and an impressive wine list. Rich wood flooring, an open flame kitchen, outdoor patio, and a glorious view of uptown combine for a mod decor. The Sunday brunch is a local favorite, and a two-course prix fixe menu is offered nightly for $29.
Great Food!! POOR SERVICE!!.
Although, the ambience here is incredible and very modern. The wait staff was VERY rude. My friends and I sat 20 minutes waiting for our drinks, with no apology. Then all of our meals were brought out at different times, by the time the last person received their meal everyone else was finished. The food was good, but who cares when the wait staff treats you like crap.
Also, we were never asked if we would like refills for wine or water. I was embarassed for them.
