The Worst. I had the worst haircut of my life given to me at Mordern Salon. The staff was nice but when I came out looking like a cocker spaniel they put on a poor performance of trying to convience me it looked good. I also wanted lowlights and came out with platnium blond hair. It was the worst hair experiance I have ever had. I was pressured extremely hard to by products as well, when I repeatedly told them I didn't need any. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone.

Mixed Feelings. I was at Modern for several services. My pedicure was fabulous!! It was long-lasting, neat, and my feet never looked better!! However my manicure, done by another woman, left a lot to be desired. I had white tips, which where crooked and uneven, and she left nail polish on my fingertips and around my cuticles. Also, my cuticles looked ragged and messy from where she nipped them. My haircut was a good one (technically) and my stylist could explain why she made the cuts she did, but it wasn't what I asked for. (I've learned from my other stylist how to explain my cut properly, using beauty school terms.) I won't be back for another cut, that's for sure. I recommend massages and body treatments, maybe a manicure/pedicure, or a makeup lesson. If you're set in your style and not open to "interpretation" I don't recommend a haircut.

Another awful haircut here!. I visited this location for a cut and highlights.

I've had two bad cuts there recently but chalked it up to me being unclear on what I wanted. With this stylist we went over pictures & talked extensively. I was crystal clear: I do NOT want hair in my eyes, the shortest layer must be long enough to go behind my ear. $125 later I have the same, exact crappy haircut and hair in my eyes! The color person was conservative, which I wanted, but I can't tell ANY difference in my color and there are still greys.

Three strikes and you are out! I will never go there again.
