Excellent Service, Highly Professional, A++. I have been using Sunset for 2 years, find both Justin and Aaron, to be very professional, and honest. They have provided outstanding service. Recently one of my AC units failed, they gave me prompt service, provided a very logical list of options for replacement and included recommendations for actions to correct air/temperature imbalance problems. The installation was completed on time and in a highly professional manner. They took extraordinary care to clean. I am highly pleased with the rebalance and the new system.

Best Service for our TIme and Money. Our AC unit was on its last leg needing weekly injections of freon to keep us moderately comfortable so we began calling around for quotes. My husband located Sunset through the Internet. They came out to our house at the scheduled time. Aaron was our first contact person. He was personable and knowledgeable. He never asked for other quotes or bad mouthed other companies (as others did...we contacted 5 companies).

Aaron took measurements in our home, in our crawl space, and went into our attic. We were pleased with the technology he had available to assist him in making a true assessment of our needs. He also took the time to explain all of the terminology associated with the purchase of a new system. He then took our information and created several options for us that met our comfort needs as well as our budget needs.

We received the email proposals with all of the information about unit types, rebates, tax credits, and cost. Once we decided on the unit, an install date was set. The Sunset crew came out and installed our new unit as well as duct work in a professional, considerate manner. All employees were courteous and considerate of our privacy as well as our property. The work was done in a timely fashion. Before they left Aaron and Justin saw to it that we understood how all of the equipment operated. Aaron gave us a tutorial on our new thermostat. We were even pleased that they came back to take air flow and temperature readings to make sure things were working to our liking. We were contacted no less than five times after install to make sure things were to our liking.

We HIGHLY recommend Sunset Mechanical for your AC and heating needs. They did much more than anyone else for a highly reasonable price. We know someone who charges $350 up front for the airflow tests and other computer readings completed for free by Sunset. We could not be happier with the service or the product provided to us from Sunset Mechanical. Aaron and Justin are running a topnotch business with excellent service.

Very professional, friendly and courteous! A+. The service technitians were very friendly and professional from our interactions over the phone until they left my front door. Very reasonably priced, keep me involved every step of the way and didn't overcharge. They also left the place exactly as they found it and vacuumed. Call One Hour A/C & Heating!. I wanted to update my response for Sunset Mechanical..since I was not able to use their services being that they were so opposed to dealing with my home warranty company and wanted me to have to pay out of pocket instead, I called One Hour A/C and Heating and they not only came out to my house within an hour (Sunset said I would not get an appointment today) they performed the work, were extremely professional, and even handled the claim with my home warranty company so that I would not incur extra expenses. If you need a true..."good old fashion company" call One Hour!

New heating/a-c system. The guys (Aaron and Justin) at Sunset Mechanical have been keeping my old heating/a-c system alive for years. Finally I gave in and replaced it. They gave me a detailed breakdown of my options and the costs, and talked them over with me in a non-pressuring way. I got a good system and they helped me with the rebate paperwork. Even though it was expensive, I am very pleased with how much less my heating bills are - this month's is about a quarter of the corresponding bill from last year :-) and I am no longer destroying the ozone layer. They are always reliable and polite and cheerful and punctual and careful to clean up after themselves and I will keep using them. I'm happy to recommend them highly.

highly recommend. I had a problem with my heat. I called around and i found Sunset. The tech that came to m home was friendly and he fixed my problem fast. I highly recommend them.

The only heating and air conditioning company I will use.. After getting quotes from several other companies, I called Sunset Mechanical. I was expecting to get a quote for replacing my heating and air conditiong over the phone. After talking with one of the owners for about 20 minutes, I understood why they need to come to my house to quote the new system. They directed me to their website to further educate me on choosing the right contractor and the right system for me. When they came out, I saw things that they looked at and did that no other contractor had done. They looked in my crawlspace, attic, and measured all my windows. They entered many other things into a computer software program to determine the size of heating and cooling system I needed. They also hooked up a big fan to my front door and were able to show me where a lot of bad air was coming into my house and ducts. After seeing how much time they spent at my house, I was curious to see how much their quote would be campared to the other companies. When I got the e-mail quote, I was surprised. They broke everything down into several options for me. Even though they proposed to do a lot of other things no one else had found, their prices were in line with the other quotes. Their quote was not the least expensive. However, based on what they did in my home already for no charge, I knew I was going to get what I was paying for. I did not choose to do everything they quoted me, but I am very happy with what I did have done. My family does not get sick as often and my utility bills went way down. It was a great experience with the owners of Sunset Mechanical from my initial phonecall to their many follow up calls. I highly recommend Sunset Mechanical to anyone in the need of a new heating or air conditioning system.

Shockingly Rude and Arrogant: business must be good for poor customer service. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars on one HVAC system and the repair of another, plus the very expensive seasonal maintenance fee per year, this company failed to oblige to the terms of the agreement, and Justin in particular chose to inform me his company would no longer be servicing me, undoubtedly because I did not opt to pay him 1500 dollar plus to install a 40 gallon hot water heater.

I highly DO NOT recommend working with Justin B , co-owner of Sunset Mechanicals as I believe you may regret. Find another company!
