pretty good restaurant. Atmosphere average. Convenient place for me to stop with pretty good food. I will continue to eat there occasionally for the sake of convenience.

Authentic Thai. Thai Marlai is one of my favorites. It is authentic, delicious, and affordable. The wait staff is always wonderful, too. Definitely go!

thai marlai. to the new customers to Thai marlai two servers on seventeen tables hosting ,serving ,cashing out ,cleaning,and setting tables you won't better service sometimes in the weeds ,but for again for two people running the front of the whole place they will get you taken care of and we do thank all of our regulars who understand the position we are in

Best Thai ever!. Great authentic food and friendly service! have eaten Thai food around the world and this is a good as the best and way better than most. The staff aims to please and wants you to enjoy the food. I have not had a bad dish there and you can't go wrong with their recommendations if you don't know what you want. Service can be a little slow at peak time on the week-end, but that has been rare in the many times I have been there.

So spicy my legs fell off!!! WOOWOOOOOO!. Hell to the yea, i went here and it was just flat out amazing. As i was eating one leg just fell off because the food was so spicy! i was laughing so hard my other leg just tumbled over seperating itself from my kneecap!!!! WOOOOOOOOWOOOOOOOOO!

EAT HERE IT MAKES YOU AWESOME!

Best green curry anywhere! The owner delivers spicy food with a spicy personality.. This restaurant is my favorite place to eat in Charlotte. When I travel, I come back craving their green curry or Tom Yum soup. The customer service is spicy and great. They really want to ensure that you enjoy the food. The atmosphere is not fancy - this restaurant is in a strip mall. The lunch menu is great value and comes with a delicious starter soup and spring roll. Enjoy!

Completely Awesome Food in Family Atmosphere. Thai Marlai has become a dining-room-away-from-home for our family Toi, her son, and the rest of her family are the most amazing hosts. They are kind, welcoming, and make the yummiest Thai food around!! You can't go wrong! And when her son Rob is cooking...mmmmm!!! They are always kind to our kids, and they are very fair with their portions. PLEASE go there - -you'll become addicted as well!

Great Food, Service sucks. Have been going for a few months mostly during lunch, the food has always been excellent but the service stinks. We went to celebrate a birthday and were 9 in total. We were seated right away (we called to give a heads up first) but the service was the worst ever. Two meals came out way after everyone elses' with no explantation and they acted annoyed when we asked where the food was. We were charged $1.00 extra for some spring roll sauce on the side for the chicken satay without being told., we wouldn't have minded if we were told. Not very good customer service since our total bill was over $150.00. I will go back for lunch but definitely wouldn't go with a large group ever again. Like I said that food is great but they defintely need some help on the customer service.

Wonderful and hidden away. Every time my family comes to visit my dad requests this place. The best Thai food I've had, period. Plus, there's never a wait because no one knows it exists!

Good food but watch out for the service. We have been going here for over two years now. We dine in and use the takeout service. Food is good and consistant. When dining in you can almost always get a table with no wait. The service staff is limited and you can sometimes wait quite a while. Although they are nice (family type business), it does put a damper on the dinner if they are understaffed.
