Best Hot Dog in the South.

Matt's are the best dogs in Charlotte, the best in NC and probably the best in the South. Why? It all starts with the Vienna Beef hot dog, the finest of dogs, all beef and all taste. Unlike other dogs (like Greenes) you don't have to cover it with technicolor toppings to give it taste. It enhances the toppings. The snap of each bite is a taste explosion.

The fries and chips are a meal in and of themselves. The service is quick and friendly and the seating comfortable.

It's the best.

Best and ONLY Chicago Dog in Charlotte!!!

Great Chicago Dog! From reading the reviews of others, it is obvious that most (all) are NOT from Chicago and they are not at all familiar with the taste and tradition of this favorite! Maybe the "Cub Fan" understands a Vienna hot dog, but he/she is a "Cub Fan" and he/she can keep the winter in Chicago. As for baseball...hope springs eternal and so forth! In any event, this is a great place, but one ONLY visits Matt's Chicago Dog for a "Chicago Dog!" BTW, these folks are from Chicago!

• Cons: Matt's Chicago Dog met my expectations

It was alright. Way to pricey!!!! If you go, plan to spend $10..service wasnt all that great. Probably wont visit again
