What People Are Saying About Le Peep

In Short – This national chain restaurant is where neighborhood types map out their morning game plans over eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy or scrambled eggs. Menu items have catchy names like the White Lightning: an omelette with diced chicken, onions, green chilies, cheese and avocado. Several dishes cater to calorie counters without compromising taste: The Mini Veggie Omelette has two eggs, tomatoes, broccoli, green peppers, onions and cheese. Salads, panini, burgers and smoothies round out the offerings.

Great Brunch!

The brunch here is divine. The portions will feed two. The wait is long on weekends and you feel like you are dining while rubbing elbows with strangers it has this sort of Cracker Barrel but dressed up flair; real close tables... its food wins over and over and over. I agree that the coffee tableside is a nice touch, especially when there is a bit of a crowd to serve.
The staff is attentive though and friendly.
The Crispy French Toast is my favorite and all their food is super fresh tasting.
Trained Diners

I read trhe previous review and have a suggestion for these diners. When food or service is not up to standards, tell the staff. I am sure the manager would have appreciated the feedback so issues could have been addressed. We diners sometime have extraordinary expectations of people who serve us. There are standards to be met, but when they fall short, communicate it. Of course there are some who will never be pleased but rather leaver without saying a word and then blast the restaurant in a public forum.
UNPLEASANT FOOD

My husband and I ate brunch at Le Peep in Charlotte today using a Groupon coupon. It was my first and last visit. I had looked on line prior to going and saw a wonderful menu and what looked like an upscale restaurant. The Charlotte site had floors that were dirty, many table cloths that were ripped, and it was cold. Despite this, my husband and I ordered. The first thing to arrive was my cappuccino. I looked around for cinnamon, as there was none served with the drink or on the table, I had to walk up to the cashier to obtain some. Eventually my husband's order arrived, minus the avocado that was a feature of the omelet. Had he been notified upon ordering or shortly thereafter that there was no avocado, he would have ordered something different. I also had a problem with my crepe. The crepes were only room temperature as were the potatoes. I did not send them back, because it had taken a long time to arrive at our table, and I wasn't going to have my husband wait for me to receive my order and sit there while I ate it with nothing in front of him. Prior to leaving he used the men's room and the stall closure was broken, hanging down, unusable. That was something anyone who cares for the restroom would have seen. It was all extremely disappointing, and I would never eat there again, and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

I was dissapointed to read a few of the reviews below me. My experience was nothing like the few that did not turn out so well. The food was excellent, this breakfast does not compare to any other breakfast places around charlotte. I see some people say its a little pricey, well they do not have a 99 cent menu but the quality is great! The service is excellent, they tend to get a little busy but that is completely understandable it's a popular place! The hostesses were a great welcome as a i walked in and walked out. I am starting to become a regular =)
- Pros: Excellent Food
- Cons: Very popular!
