I have lived here 10 years and have
eaten at many Charlotte Restaurants. Barrington's is still hands down my favorite. Amazing food, great wines, great service and intimate atmosphere. Just wish I could afford to eat there more often. Still remember a meal I had there over 8 years ago....now that is a great meal!

Attitude at Barrington's.
Food is very good for Charlotte. Waitstaff and owner have an attitude~ Before your meal is finished, they are trying to take your plate and present your check. Appears they are more interested in turning the table vs your dining experience

Doesn't get any better than this.
We went for the first time 3 weeks ago haven't stopped talking about since. The pumpkin waffle had to be the biggest hit in the desert category. My wife had the grouper and I had the steak, both were out of this world. The prices were very fair and the service was impeccable. I do not reccomend bad restaurants and I don't like anyone who does. This is a dining experience

One of Charlotte's Best!.
I went for the first time last weekend, after hearing good reviews. It was AMAZING. I had the rigatoni with sausage and marsala sauce, and it is perhaps the best meal I have ever eaten. We also shared some desserts, and all of them were out of this world. I think this is my new favorite restaurant in Charlotte! Also, the prices weren't nearly as bad as I expected. My entree was around $18 I believe.

Intimate, Pricey, Amazing.
Barrington's is definitely a one of a kind experience here in Charlotte. Where Charlotte is plagued with high end corporate eateries, this lone restaurant sits tucked away in a small quiet shopping center in South Park, where you wouldn't really know where it is unless you were told about it. Somehow I think that's what the owners wanted and it works!
I've been here twice over the past couple of years and it seems it's where the wealthy and well known of Charlotte choose to dine when they don't want to be seen. From banking executives to local celebrity figures, you can probably count on seeing someone you've seen on TV or in the paper recently. Don't let it fool you its not known as "see and be seen" place its more just good eats.
Space is limited here, so better know which day and time you'd like to go and plan ahead. I have been lucky enough to go with some people who are so called "in" with the ownership and are regulars, so it was easy to get a table the same evening, but I cannot imagine it's like that too often. With seating inside for probably about 55 people maximum it can get a bit tight, but again well worth it. Inside it seems like a small house almost, I know it's not, but just gives off that feeling.
The food is great, specialties from the chef daily. Very fresh meats and produce are used and you can tell the chef has a well trained staff in the back. The food is on the higher end of the dollar, but in this place, you truly get what you pay for.

Delightful.
Our favorite restaurant in Charlotte! I have to have the Gnocchi at least once every six weeks! The wine selection is great! The setting is cozy and inviting.

Great thought, great food!.
This chef has taken a small spot in a strip shopping center, and transformed it into a warm, inviting, aesthetic, and delicious culinary experience. The service is genuine and attentive. The food is as wonderful to the eye as it is to the palate. We love it!

Creative culinary sophistication, combined with fresh, quality ingredients, make food the main event at this local gem..
In Short
Tucked in the back of Foxcroft Village Shopping Center, this nationally recognized bistro-style restaurant is a true gem. The setting is cozy and unpretentious, with muted colors, tasteful white linen tablecloths, and an inviting bar. The salad is a spectacular marriage of flavors, with arugula, rosted butternut squash, pecans, blue cheese and sweet cranberry-port vinaigrette. Don't miss the signature handmade Parmesan gnocchi, prepared in a hearty sauce with braised organic veal and Italian porcinis.
