Looby Loo Relocates to Blakeney Village in Ballantyne. Celebrated Charlotte children's retailer since 2000, Looby Loo packed up its fabulous selection in March 2007 and moved to the current location at Blakeney Village (Ballantyne), 9852 Rea Road. The move was influenced by the growth of the young family population of Ballantyne, and surrounding areas, but more so by the owners? renovation of 1930s farmhouse built by a grandfather. All the faves are still here, from Zutano infantwear, Haba, eeBoo, Rody in a rainbow of colors, a satisfying book selection, children's music with grown-up appeal, and the coolest kids' fashions in the Queen City. Brands include Small Paul by Paul Frank, Charlie Rocket, Catimini, Me Too, and more. The store is set in a spunky, pedestrian-style shopping center which includes excellent eateries, skin care boutique Potion, Charlotte's first Swoozies store, Hue, Ann Taylor, Handpicked, and many more.
