The Scene – With textured walls painted in warm golden hues, linen tablecloths and subdued lighting, this intimate neighborhood trattoria exudes both warmth and refinement. Service is impeccable, with the knowledge and attentiveness of the seasoned wait staff adding to the impressive dining experience. – – The Food – Begin your meal with a nice bottle of red, and perhaps the roasted pepper stuffed with prosciutto, creamy mozzarella and basil. For entrees, the homemade pasta dishes include a rich spinach and ricotta ravioli tossed with butter and fresh sage. Seafood…

This restaurant is beautiful with wonderful food. The service is top notch. The owner is always present to insure everyone is happy. I love all the veal dishes. His pasta of the day is always great. The fruit sorbet is terrific. They make their own lemoncello -- also terrific. A great place. Agree that the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the experience. We are regulars here.
- Pros: Food and atmosphere
- Cons: none at all
Overall best italian in Charlotte

You walk in and the place is beautiful. You are serve with nice waiters with smiling face. Good variety on the menu and specials. The wine list is great but the price is what was so special they don't take you to the cleaner there like the other places. For dinner, I had a mushrooms soup that was to die for, no dairy, just pure mushrooms, my husband had a carpaccio that was excellent also. Main course I had the salmon with the capers that was perfectly done and my husband had the Osso Bucco, it was quite a challenge, I'm french I make one the provencal way and he never found one so far as good as mine and he taugh it was pretty good. I had to taste it and I have to say that it was very good too. We finished with tiramisu that was sublime with an espresso. The dinner was just wonderful. We will be back with friends very very soon!
- Pros: impeccable service, parking next door, beautiful room, big bar, great ambiance
Best Italian!!!

I am a usual here and you have a great and friendly staff and the owner is always helpful and is always around trying to see if any guests need anything. Very great customer service, knowledge of wines, and desserts to want almost every night! I brought my wife here for the first time and she was amazed by it, they have moved from the old small location and moved towards uptown charlotte, and the location and ambience of the new place is outstanding! Would recommend this place!!! Great food, wine selection has changed a bit,but still good, and dessert (out of this world)!
Terrific Specials

This a very good restauraunt with very good service from an authentic Italian staff. The menu changes periodically and they always have several specials, especially on the weekends. It is a small room and the atmosphere is not a boisterous or a loud environment. The dover sole, calimari, and penne alla vodka are excellent. Anyone who thinks this restaurant does not do very good Italian does not know good Italian.

This use to be a great restuarant, the food is not the same, service is getting worse and worse and the atmosphere is very timid.
