SLOW. This restaurant has the slowest service (and servers) that I've ever seen. After you've waited for up to an hour to be seated, how can it take 45 minutes to get a salad? I've even been after the lunch crowd and still received poor service. For such a pricey place, I expect a little more. The cheescake is typically great but I have received a sour/bad tasting piece on one occasion...again, something not expected for those prices. I wouldn't mind paying a little more if it felt worthy and sadly it doesn't. I've given it several chances and honestly would rather go to one of the other great Southpark area restaurants instead.

Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain.. In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.

Not group friendly. I've planned 2 larger group functions here and the timing and managing of the groups by the Cheesecake factory were much less that satisfactory. We were told the wait would be 1 1/2 hrs. but were then told later that it would be an additional 1 1/2 because they had accidentally given our table away. Both times we had 1 server to accommodate a party of 20+ people. I would not suggest having dinner here with a large party.

Festive and Fun. The wait can be long, but our hostess, Kristin, was gracious and eager to find the perfect spot for our party. Our waitress, Kimberly, was equally competent and polite. The food was good, and the atmosphere was festive and fun for a birthday. The pricing is a bit high, but not outrageous. I recommend you go in ahead of time, and spend some time in the mall to avoid boredom. An appetizer and the cheesecake will probably be more than enough to fill you up.
