I liked everything but the cheesecake. Im not very hard to please but when you name your restaurent after something you offer that something better be good! I went here to eat with my wife and the appitezers and entrees were great but then the cheesecake let us down. It was mushy and overly sweet and when I asked our waiter if this was the way it was suppose to taste he didnt offer any good explenation for why it was so bad. Good for the food but the cheesecake was a flop.
Nice place..
We went there for the first time on valentine's day of last year 2008, with the kids, it was a nice experience.
the entrees were very nice and the dessert was the best, we had the Godiva cheesecake.
The atmosphere is romantic but it was a bit loud
Melhor lugar para dormir. Realmente e incrivel a qualidade dos alimentos deste estabelecimento, quanto mais eu visito com meus familiares mais eu gosto e volto outras vezes porque a comida e realmente muito boa.
Consistantly good. We have probably been here a hundred times in our short time in Charlotte. Food is pretty consistant except for a couple duds. Servers are usually great except for the occassional one that doesn't want to be there. The funniest thing is every time we are there, there is always an "OP-A" moment with plates or glasses crashing to the floor. I will say though that we do not tend to go during busy times when the wait is longer than a half hour. The few times we've gone when it's busy has been the same times the food suffers in quality.
Crazy on the weekends, Great food, So many choices, I don't know about the customer service. AFter having cheesecake in Pasadena and Beverly Hills, I have to say, the service is not up to par.The food here is always excellent and the bread is sometimes warm, sometimes stale. One time, my inlaws were in town, so we decided to Cheesecake. The watress was pretty new and she spilled a whole glass of water on me. Then, didn't even attempt to make up for it. Also, she didn't even tell us that her shift was over and we weren't helped the rest of the evening. It was sad and I don't like the waiting either. The girls at the front counter don't seem professional and are always talking about nonimportant things. The only people I think are working are the busboys/girls & the cooks. if everyone worked like their lives depended on it, we would be a happier society because no one would get jipped.
slow and NOT worth it.
I've been to this restaurant several times since it opened and I just don't get it. It's mobbed, the service is S.....L......O......W and the food is mediocre.
The noise level is at jet runway levels thanks to the "quirky architecture" which bounces every little noise off all the walls, amplifying an already loud volume. The servers try their best, but they are exhausted, and it shows. Yes, the cheesecake is good, but why not just get take out?
Slow... But Worth It. Yeah, the service takes a long time on any day. But this is THE Cheesecake Factory after all -- the only one in the region -- and people are vying for this place.
Still loving the cake. My husband and I are elderly and we love to frequent this restaurant, as I don't cook like I used to. We find the little petite hostess a peach, though there are other sweet ones too. On a recent visit we were treated rather coldly by another who when we tried to ask a simple question stated she would be handing out checks now, turned and left us standing there. Our little peach returned and all was well. Still a wonderful little spot with great food and service. Once we watched the lady that painting the wall murals. Delightful!
Now thatsa atmosphere. As a lady who grew up in an "expessive" Italian family I love the atmosphere and even the noise at Cheesecake Factory. They have some quieter areas if you inquire when you arrive. Also if you don't wish to feel like you are dining with others at your table avoid the area in the main dining with seats across from a long upholstered bench. I love the lovely Bulgarian hostess as well as the other long time, sometimes blonde, sometimes brunette "Barbie" one (looks like she weighs all of 90 pounds); a sweetheart! If the need should arise they have a wonderful manager, Tim. Nice, professional young man. Chris is the best server, in my family's opinion. Ask for him if possible.
some people. For every minute you have to wait that is how many people are ahead of you more than likely. Chances are the the girl who took your name and/or pager cannot seat you, her job is simply to fill the restaurant and others will be there to seat you shortly. Servers have immense pressure on them because they are sat multiple parties at the same time, so please show a little sympathy. I think they great service for the amount of immense pressure from angry, apathetic customers they get every day! Look around you if you cant walk without bumping into someone, dont complain, they can't help it they're busy. PS: If you made $2.15 an hour you would want someone to leave you the norm of a 20% tip too. Be considerate and they may exceed your expectations!
