Lake Norman's Cheers!. I used to watch Football at the Restaurant when it was RJ Gators and am very happy with the new inprovements. The Bar is much more open and inviting. The food is Bar food, so don't come expecting a gormet meal. :) The food is excellent and the help is... well remember Karla from Cheers? It's better than that, but you will need to get to know them:). Thank you for all the great service ladies!

Pass it by .... Stopped by about two months after it had re-opened as Gators Hometown, hoping it was better than the previous Gators. Overall, the look was identical, no upgrades or changes were noticed. When we ordered, the waitress came back later to let us know that what we had ordered they did not have that day. After reorder, when the food came out it was cold and so greasy that it was uneatable. When we told the waitress, she stated she would tell the manager. Manager never came to the table. We paid for the full meal and as we were leaving the Hostess ask how was the meal and when we told her, she just said "sorry". Did not bother to get the manager, etc. We will not return so we just pass it by...
