Best Japanese In charlotte area. I have been here many times and have always loved it. Best japanese steak house food in the area. we drive from north charlotte to eat here because it is better and a lot less money than the places in charlotte. Great food and staff!

HORRIBLE management, false advertising. For my birthday I chose for my family to go to this restaurant, based on the fact that I had 2 buy one get one free dinner coupons that came from a $25 coupon book, CitiPass. Upon arriving and receiving our food, we went to pay for the check, and gave our server the coupons for our separate checks and receive the discount. The manager proceeded to come out and say that they would not accept the coupons anymore, even though they had not expired. We asked why, and she explained that they changed their minds and were no longer valid. We began to vent our frustrations about false advertising and she said, "We have to pay our bills, and we cannot let you have free food". I know for a fact, as I have worked for marketing firms like Citi-Pass, that they do not publish something if you do not want them to, and will send a letter to the customers who purchased the book, stating that something has changed. The restaurant didn't even have a sign in the establishment saying the coupon was not accepted. We were completely oblivious to this and caught off guard. Not only did we have to pay for something unexpectedly, they were very rude to us and made it out to be our fault. Our server also told us that the same thing has happened to several customers recently. They are bringing customers in on false pretenses and ripping them off!

Wife and I ate there tonight. There is something to be said for having the place to yourself on a Sunday afternoon… but Hibachi style Japanese Steakhouses are always best with a crowd.

The meal was $40 for 2 people.. about average for a Japanese Steakhouse, but still a little pricey when no alcohol was involved.

Regardless, the chef was very nice and took good care of us, and the food was delicious.

Great Value. Much cheaper than kabutos or nakatos for essentially same thing. Personal chef prepares meals at your table. Easy to get a table, even on weekends. Food has more flavor in my opinion. Kinda hard to find, look behind the Taco Bell on exit 82B off 77
