Absolutely horrible. Terrible service. Run down interior. I would like to leave zero stars. Feels dirty all over. Took three and a half hours to finally eat and get bill. Had to wait 45 minutes for bill. Meanwhile they only were able to manage to bring two Roy da of drinks. Didn't hesitate to put 18% tip on bill though. Funniest part was they forgot the whole tables salad - it was. brought out as everyone was finishing main meal. Not one apology or anything.

Sushi bar is inviting. Great service.. Sushi bar is inviting. Great service. Friendly staff. Affordable and delicious.

Worst Customer Experience Ever @ Sushi Bar. My husband and I eat sushi often, trying many different places. We also like to regularly frequent our favorites. Kabuto's will never be on our list. When we walked in we sat at the sushi bar. We waited nearly 20 minutes until we could order. Then 1 hour and 10 minutes later the small crab rolls for our 2 little girls came out. 10 minutes later the first of our 5 sushi roll order came out. He was literally making them in between the other orders (and the other people) that were still waiting to be filled. He would routinely walk away from the sushi bar (there was only one chef there on a Friday night!). After 1 hour and a half of waiting we asked to pay for what we ate and for them to stop the rest of the order. No compensation for our time or trouble - not that I was surprised. In addition, the sushi bar was dirty (the bar glass where the raw fish lay), messy and unkept. The bathroom was equally as dirty and messy.

Good place and entertaining. We took our kids to Kabuto for the first time and they thought the cook was really amazing because his tricks were cool, especially, when he tossed the shrimp around and threw the tails in his hat, pocket and even at the other customers. The service has been excellent, staff has been very courteous, the food was really delicious and it was a lot of fun for all of us.

Not the best experience we have ever had. My wife and I are new to the area and tried this restauraunt the other evening. Her sushi was server too warm and the dish that I ordered, steak and scallops, was just average. In addition, the wait staff was quite inexperienced and the chef was not very engaging. We are still looking for a decent sushi bar in the Lake Norman area.
