Great local bar and atmosphere. Great hang out and atmosphere. Outside patio. Great drink and dinner specials. Fun place to hang out with your friends
You need to check this place out.
Angry Ale's is a place that will ensure you're night is awesome. The service is friendly, personal, and enjoyable. I ordered a turkey bacon wrap and loved it! It's a great "go-to" place when you're looking for a quick fix of great food. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The energy levels are always high, and the crowd is fun. Angry Ale's does a pristine job of providing a clean and a very well-equipped environment for you and your friends to have a really fun night. Definitely worth checking out.
Lunch time is a quieter time and just as great.
The Patio is Cool. I've been going to Ale's for six years. It is the after-game bar for my sports league. This place is the definition of a dive bar. It has a great patio. The inside is kind of dumpy. The food is usually pretty good. I really like their wings. It is a pretty inexpensive place. They almost always have a beer special. I don't know the manager's name, but he is not a nice guy. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it is awful. A couple of the waitresses are awesome though, especially Hannah. Beware of crime at night. There have been quite a few muggings in the area. Females should not go to their car alone at night. They have some nice TVs to watch sports. They have trivia on Wednesday nights which is fun. Overall it is a fun inexpensive place to have a few beers, and some dececnt food.
Friendly Staff. Very friendly staff, good prices and specials, music is decent and the food is good for bar food. I miss the uptown location but go to Montford when I can. Oh and they had Bells the last time I was there a nice beer from Michigan which was nice.
one of my favorites!. Good people, good things. This is a fun, pretty casual spot for great food and affordable drinks. Sometimes they have live music on the patio. It's a semi-diverse crowd mainly made up of 20-35 year old college grads who work in charlotte. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the people are great. There's no need to get super dressed up to visit. Enjoy!
Anyone smell cheese? Pretty seedy!. One of my friends talked me into going here on a Wednesday night. Take my advice girls- stay away. This place has always had the reputation of attracting a rough crowd, but I had heard a rumor that the crowd had improved and that they were now running draft beer specials. If your idea of a good time is to watch a bunch of idiots fighting then this is the place for you. Oh and the motorcycle crowd is a big plus. From now on I am only going to the bars where the guys can afford to pay more than $1 for beer.
An unexpected surprise. Enjoying drinks on Thursday after work is one our favorite pastimes. When someone suggested this place, i was reluctant because it wasn't in the normal radius of our usual watering holes. I am glad we went. We didn't eat but we certainly enjoyed our fare share of cocktails. THe servers are friendly and the patrons are even friendlier. You have your regulars and then you have a trendy set that seemed open to conversation. Bartenders are great but need some help. Service was slow at times. Overall, it was a great spot to enjoy happy hour drinks.
Best bar hangout in Myers Park!. Great food, friends and drink specials! You will find many good looking girls here and one of the best patios in Charlotte!
