Tips for Melting Pot

It's hip to dip at this cozy fondue-lover's paradise.. In Short
Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies and cheesecake.

Big Night Out? You Bet!. We've been to this particular restaurant before, so our last trip was nothing new. We STARVED ourselves before we went, because we were getting the Big Night Out, and let me tell you that's a LOT of food! Our server was Jillian, who made the evening an absolutel blast (much love to Jillian!) She was on top of EVERYTHING, right down to our dry-camel thirsts! We got the cheese fondue with the bread and assorted veggies first, followed by two great salads. Then came the main course, complete with assorted meats and veggies (or just veggies if you're not into chowing down on things that bleated or clucked in a past life!) We had our favorite cooking style, the MOJO! Yummy! By the time the dessert arrived, we were stuffed; but we made room for the hazelnut chocolate and strawberries, bananas, cheesecake, brownies and marshmallows! We were two miserable, overstuffed individuals when we left, but it was so much fun!

I highly recommend the experience just once, unless you're just way too lazy to cook your own food on cute little skewers! And if she's there, ask for Jillian! She's a laugh riot and she really knows her stuff!

Oh my that's good!. Every year I choose The Melting Pot for my birthday dinner. We always share a meal for two so we get salad, cheese fondue, and entree and a full belly. But be sure to save room for one of the chocolate deserts - heavenly!
