Wonderful Kennel & Grooming!

Happy Tails Kennel & Groom Room has been fabulous to my two dogs, Peeker (a 11 year old Pekingese) and Brownie (a little over 1 year old standard Chihuahua).

Previous to living in Charlotte, I would always get a pet sitter I knew to care for them while I was on vacation. I moved to Charlotte in 2007 and was unsure of a reputible and caring kennel in Charlotte. I did some research and finally decided on Happy Tails. I was very pleased with their staff & the care my pets recieved. The staff is very caring and treated my two bubs with the utmost quality of love I would expect.

During Peeker's stay he was having severe back spasms that hindered his movement. The staff worked with him and gave him his meds as directed. They also worked with Brownie, who was very unsure of them at first...he would bark & show his teeth, but by the time I picked him up, he was much easier around them.

The pricing is also affordable and with the quality of service it can not be beat. The only draw back is it can be difficult to get them on the phone to schedule an appointment, but if you leave a detailed message they get back to you very promptly :)

• Cons: Can be hard to get on the phone, but will give you a call promptly after you leave a call back appointment message

Home Away From Home

I travel a lot, almost every weekend. It's almost silly that I have a dog. But I've managed to find Happy Tails to care for my dog on the weekends when I'm away and it's made my travel so much easier. Everyone there is passionate about the pets they care for and it shows; from the pictures in the lobby, to the way they greet me and my dog, the cleanliness of the facility, and in the questions they ask each and every time I drop her off. It's even more obvious in my dog when I drop her off. Every time I drive down the lane and enter the property she gets excited! The kennel is a little way out of the city, but it is worth the drive!

When the dog doesn't want to leave, you know he enjoyed himself! Facility was clean and newly rennovated, the staff was friendly, and the dog seemed to have more fun then I did on my vacation! I will deffinetly be using them again!

• Pros: indoor/outdoor runs, clean, great prices
• Cons: no group playtime
